Had an enjoyable stay. The park is clean and well maintained The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We also liked the hat and bicycle decorations throughout the campground. We stayed here in order to visit Little Big Horn & Pompey's Pillar National Monuments which are both very close to the campground. All around a very enjoyable experience for us.

The park is really run down. No landscaping. Everything needs updating. We had a cottonwood tree next to our site. It was shedding its blooms. It was like snow so bad that we couldn’t set outside. The bed of my pickup was covered. The dog park was so small there was no need to unleash the dog. I’m sorry, it was a bad experience.

Traveling to Mount Rushmore and this was a good midpoint. Owners were very nice. The dog run was alittle small. They were not fully open after the winter but everything worked and they were close to the Interstate �

The first thing we dumped our tanks and the sewer was backing up. Campsites too close we had a pull through and the next campsite pulled through going other way and you could not walk between the bump outs. They put someone next to us..and the park was only half full…it needs some Koa love. We are on a 2 month trip and have stayed in 5 so far and the Hardin KOA was a disappointment.

Just a one night stand while passing through, but the owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds were clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed there before and will again.

Pros. Online reservation, hookups, level, convenient location. Cons: pretty tired facility, shower house unheated, dark, weathered, needs a little refreshing to meet what I would expect from a KOA.

We have stayed at this location several times. very nice owners, wishing them best for their future. We stopped in early Spring for two nights, no issues, quiet and comfortable, and a good over-night stopping place.

For one night it met all our needs. Shame as it had been hit by a bad storm in June which did some damage, although the site did look like it needed some TLC.

This campground has been through a lot of weather issues this year, but the owners Dave & Gina are the best campground hosts. They have been working very hard at getting it back together. People just need to be patient. They are Always there when you need them. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers.

Stopped here late night on our way from Sioux Falls to Glacier National Park. Since it was after hours they had our information and campsite waiting in the late night arrivals, which I have found very helpful with KOAs. This KOA is right off the highway and made it for a quick in and out overnight stay. Bathrooms were clean.

This was my second time at this campground and again did not disappoint. Owners are so friendly and welcoming. The Campground is so quirky and lovely. Not like all the big fancy campgrounds, this one feels like home. Peaceful even though not far from the highway. I look forward to coming back to this campground every time I come through on my way to and from Alaska.

This KOA showed neglect - building and sites. The owners told us they had tornado damage in June and were working with contractors to return to a higher standard. Their explanation did not account for the tall weeds in the camp sites and near the office building. Many of the campgrounds had trees with large dead limbs that were a threat to campers.

The people were very nice, however the campground itself is in dire need of a makeover. Everything about the place is very old and in need of clean up and repair.

The staff was very nice but the grounds are very run down. The location is far enough off the highway so there isn’t a lot of road noise. When comparing this site to their KOA sites we have stayed at around the country, we really have to say this site needs help/improvement.

Clean bathrooms, staff is friendly campground is in need of updating. Dirt dirt and more dirt. Sites are level gull hook ups in some sites lots of weeds.

Just off the interstate; accommodating we didn't have reservations and they had A rv space. They have a small gift shop/ store with essentials; Good customer service came thru early in the season so they were just getting things up and running. They have full hookups with 50 amps rv pads are level but they are gravel. It's just off the interstate a few miles down the road so it is free of interstate noise.

Love love love this place! Kristy and Jon are working very hard on updating and making this a fun stop along your way. Conveniently off the interstate without the interstate noise. Will absolutely stay here again. Excited about the updates.

Amazing and friendly staff. I had to change my reservation for less days and they were kind and willing. Fun playground. Large dog park. Peaceful place. Highly recommend this KOA!
