It's was a fun trip close to home

First night fine, second day partiers arrived next to us, several carloads, two barking dogs, several toddlers, and several drinking at noon semi-adults. When we requested site change, we were promptly given another site. Excellent customer service!

Very pleasant stay. Very early in the season so a few things still needed shining up but staff friendliness was outstanding.

Had a nice big water view site with water and electric service, lots of trees, very nice! Park overall is maintained to a high standard, clean and polished. Owners and staff are fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. Always enjoy a stay here and we'll certainly be back.

Nice site. Campground owner has done a lot of work to the roads and sites with gravel. The office has had some work done as well.

First time campers we were so pleased with Joe (the KOA supervisor) who went above and beyond to see that we were well taken care of. Offered assistance to us newbies when needed and the park as a whole was well run and pleasant to be visiting. Had couple of issues with the high speed access but that's more the provider than the park. Love it and will certainly be back next summer. Thank you Joe.

Always a great stay ! The owner is friendly, accommodating and stays open after all other campgrounds in the area have closed for the season.

we had a lovely long stay in Halifax, endured and survived Hurricane Fiona. I was a bit surprised that not one manager checked to see if the campers were Ok after the Hurricane.

Always enjoy staying Here. Joe is a great owner. Friendly and takes time to chat in the office or stops by to see how we are doing.

The manager was very rude and disrespectful and when a situation arose the only listened to one side of the situation. I witnessed these other boys pushing and grabbing other kids by the arms and swinging them around and when I went to go and say something nothing was done about it. The pancake breakfast that was served every day wasn’t orthodox the $$ we spent and the campsites were not kept up

We only had one night here, and we had a Good stay . Clean bathrooms and warm water. The ownership was very helpfull.

Nixe big shower dressing area. Could use a ledge to set items on and maybe larger chair to sit on while dressing. Staff was friendly and worked very hard to clean up damage from hurricane Fiona. All services worked well. Lovely quiet setting.

Love this campground. It is very well maintained and the camping sites have lots if room. Joe and his staff are very friendly and accommidating. Would highly recommend this KOA .

A little windblown the day after Fiona swept thru, but what a respite from the storm! Thanks again for all you and your group did to keep us safe warm and dry. We hope to get back again soon.

Very nice campground, on a lake that you can SUP on. A bit away from Halifax, but we were there in off season and this was the closest place open. So, thankful they were open.

Site had a pretty view of river. Unfortunately weather not good so didn't spend much time out on site. Did get caught up on laundry. Is a bit far out from downtown Halifax so depending on your plans location may or may not be ideal.

The front desk was amazing. We were well looked after. Even after hours a quick phone call and the office was opened up to hand us another power adapter, after ours was stolen while we were out. I can’t say enough great things about this site.

Raccoons kept getting trapped in garbage bin and had to set a timber inside so they could get out. Need to have a sign to keep bin closed.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
