The stay was very good. Wife was impressed with the laundromat. The only complaint I have was when a worker was driving around in a golf cart at full speed and there is a speed limit within the campground. They have signs to watch for children. So if campers have to follow the rules so should the workers.

Campsite was nice, lots of room. However Usually at campgrounds you see staff members around making sure people are following the rules, not here. It was like a free range do whatever you want people throwing garbage everywhere, kids we’re throwing other kids around the bouncy pillow and fighting at the playground. Making it very uncomfortable and dangerous for other kids to play.

Sites set up where areas very close to sewer sort no place to just sit outside. The staff weren’t very friendly when we checked n we found it hard to find our spot !!

It was good not complaints easy check in - didn’t feel rushed to check out. I did put in a request for a certain site that was empty the weekend we were there was a bit upset but it is what it is. Overall good weekend

The calendar for this year was not available when I booked this with the campground owner. When I arrived nothing booked. His wife was awesome, she calmed me down and when she found out why I wanted a particular site suggested another one to meet our needs . It was incredible and I loved it. Thank you and I have been telling quilters at our national quilt show how great this park is! See u in 2024

Amazing staff and owner, spent 11 nights and it was a great spot. Been going every years for the last 4 and customer services is fantastic, friendly and understandable.

Very accommodating and helpful. It is at a good location if your plans are near Halifax. Good for families. Stayed off-season, so may feel a bit crowded in busier times.

Roads and sites are tight/narrow. Had to back out of our pull through. Grounds needed mowed and cleaned up. Dumpsters overflowing. Otherwise ok.

We liked the easy access, the very friendly staff, the lake and the idyllic sunset over it, the shower. We didn’t like the small pull through, the neighbors water supply and sewer right on our grass site - as ours was on the other neighbors ground, and the most distracting fact was the garbage container, massiv over filled and with an terrible odor.

Wifi did not work where we were, and we chose a KOA so we could work and travel. We chose KOA sites as they are known for their wifi availability. Our site was right beside the dump site for the rest of the campground. Laundry facilities were nice.

The only suggestion I have is to create some daily activities for kids. i.e. crafts, bingo, wagon ride, theme weekends, etc. Other than the pool, park and bike rental (which was too big for our littles) there wasnt many activities for kids to do. Our kids love campgrounds with daily activities and is why we'd probably book elsewhere, but we still had a really great time!

Loved our stay there although it was cut short because of fire in the area. The managers/owners kept us informed and since we could smell the smoke we chose to leave so we weren’t trapped the next morning.

Friendly and knowledgable staff work there and are always willing to attend to your every need. Rv site was well maintained and clean for our arrival. Checkin was a breeze and price was very reasonable. Will definitely book another stay there again.

We stayed there for two days. We originally planned 4 days but have to cut it short because of the wild fire. Joe was very supportive and made our stay as stress free as possible.

we had been one of the first to stay there and had been very welcome with our Austrian Camper. We got a wonderful place near the lake and could refit us after the long flight from Europe. Our camper was shipped over before from Hamburg to Halifax

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
