Best place to stay overnight near Halifax, a romantic campsite at the waterfront in a forest, nice people, nice staff, I'm looking forward to stay there a couple of times each year.

We had a great stay! This is our 3rd year in a row. The campground is well maintained, the restrooms and showers are clean. There's also new cabins. Joe is the owner, he's great! The kids love it there.

It was a great campground, other than the beds being uncomfortable but beats a tent. Loved having a mini fridge and charcoal bbq included. Clean bathrooms and free showers.

Been staying during the week for work. Site and camp grounds were very clean and well laid out. Staff was friendly and accommodating plan on being a frequent visitor as it is close to Halifax and we travel there quite often �

Great location, friendly staff and wonderful experience for all. Only complaint is there is no green space for kids to play. All gravel including the play area and no field to play in.

We had a wonderful stay. Great friendly staff willing to accommodate. The campground was clean and quiet at night. The only thing I would suggest is a laundry room and paddle boats for the pond!

This was our 3rd year in a row of staying at KOA Halifax West. We enjoyed every moment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities are great and we will be back next year!

The night I stayed was hot and humid. There was no fan and the screen door did not fit the door frame. There were large gaps in 2 sides of the door. Even sleeping with the non-screen door closed, we woke in the morning with multiple bug bites. It was the most uncomfortable night in any KOA I have stayed in. It was disappointing.

We have stayed in dozens of KOA campgrounds all over the US and Canada. This is hands down the loudest one we've been to. The sites are incredibly close together. People were playing music loudly all evening. Many were smoking and the scent of pot was everywhere. There was nothing relaxing about our stay. The bathrooms were clean. This campground is not for anyone who wants to enjoy nature.

The kids loved the Halifax West KOA and the adults found the cabin to be extremely clean and so relaxing. I would certainly stay here again. We loved it very much.

Everything was great except the bathrooms were out of toilet paper except one and that one was plugged and locked to not be used. A lot of people lined up in morning to use bathrooms, site could use more bathrooms set up. Lots of things for our kids to do.

We enjoyed our weekend there. Kids had an awesome time , it’s an all day play for them , lots of things to keep them busy. We stayed at one of the cottage there , it was clean and has air conditioning. AWESOME!

It was amazing the cabin clean and comfortable. Campsite clean taken care of. Alot of things for kids to enjoy, you gotta try out the fun bikes they're awsome and real family and kid fun pool is clean and warm, convenience in office is great staff always helpful.

Enjoy the stay. Lots of activities for kids. Our Deluxe cabin was ideal for our needs. Would like to see it a little bit more attention paid to the cleaning of the barbecue in advance of arrival. I had to give it a good scrub before we could use it.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
