Beautiful location - close to everything. We were there during Fiona and Joe and his crew had the clean up done in no time. Was amazing they were able to do that. Joe and Staff went out of there way to be accommodating. Sites on the river are spectacular.

Koa is always a favorite spot! Campground is wooded and clean, kids love the playground and arcade, and it’s in a super convenient location. Staff is always friendly and welcoming �

Always enjoy our stay at the Halifax West KOA. It was fun doing a fall trip with friends, love camping along the river. Joe gives a personable experience and is always reachable when we've needed him (even to borrow a caulking gun for an RV repair!).

Campground was great, amenities were adequate. I know it’s a balancing act between letting people enjoy themselves and letting people get some rest, but I’m used to people settling down around 10:00PM. I was not prepared to hear people screaming and yelling and partying until 1:30AM

the campground was lovely and clean. the sites we were on were a decent size, and the staff were friendly. Lots of stuff for kids to do. I loved seeing all the kiddos out on the bikes.

We arrived to branches and brush in the way so my husband had to move it to gain access. Our lot had no picnic table. When our neighbor left on our last day we saw why. They had two tables for their party of two adults. The evening before we we woken up by adults congregating at the end of our driveway. Loud and under the influence. This went on for half an hour. Why must people be so childish?

The KOA was well maintained, clean and enjoyable as always. The owner/manager was accommodating and friendly. Looking forward to staying there again.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Worked hard to clear debris after Hurricane Fiona for everyone's comfort and safety.

Excellent place to stay. Check-in was fast. WiFi was very good all the time. The camp is well-kept. The hosts were very accommodating with our request to add additional nights due to the recent hurricane.

Friendly staff. Quiet at night. The location is convenient for us, near the city. Better signage, especially on highways 102 and 203 would be helpful for those new to the area.

KOA West is by far the best family campground around in my opinion. Lots of trees and activities for the children. Very friendly staff as well. If I had to complain about something it would only be that my stay wasn't long enough. I highly recommend this campground to everyone.

Liked that the bathrooms and shower rooms were individual. They were clean, however, some bathrooms were out of dispensing soap. All and all a nice campground .

Nice environment and managment, campsites are clean and in good shape. Communication with staff is quick and high efficiency. Would recommend to anyone who is going to visit Halifax with RV.

Ok. Good location. Small site surrounded by three cabins so close we could see into them and get their drift cigarettes smoke. Our site across from bounce pad. Shower floors dirty dried muddy floors but lots of hot water. Close to concert pavilion was ok till the featured entertainer left and karaoke took over to near midnight. 2 out of 3 nights with fireworks. Laundry was good. Staff good.

Only one day stay in September, not a lot of people. Hurricane Fiona was suppose to hit soon so we went closer to Digby. All is well

Joe, the owner is amazing! He is accommodating, friendly, A one service always when dealing with Joe. This past weekend he assisted arranging a benefir concert for a local family in need. He did a 50/50 draw for the family as well as the benefit concert. Great time, great place, great owner.

Very nice campground, some sites are close to each other. Wi-Fi in 2022 should not be a hit and miss adventure! It needs to be better!

Small tight sites. Septic alarm going off right by our sites multiple times. Super tight park to drive around with kids on recumbent bikes flying around everywhere and barely being able to see them. Multiple washing machines/dryers out of service. Store wasn’t staffed during store hours sometimes. Good place if you’re looking to tour surrounding area but not if you just are looking to stay at

Our reception there was awful being told by the lad in office that he didn’t do check i. And the owner would be back in 15 min Our spit was next to trailer that was long term and had owner out doing weird things all night including burning garbage and throwing gas on fire Choppig wood at 3 am and using chainsaw It was a nightmare and we left a day early Was refunded that nights $

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
