Owners are always welcoming! Every year we come, we notice little improvements here & there (This year it was obvious that work was done on ALL the washrooms & showers). Pride of ownership shows - staff are all friendly, helpful. Grounds are always neat & tidy! Found our new favorite site this year!�� Thanks again Joe & Company - we'll be back!

We are annual regulars at Halifax West KOA. We stay at this campground 2 to 3 weekends per year. The amenities were as good as usual. Our stay was as enjoyable and relaxing as we expected it to be. The campground manager was very accommodating during the booking as well as the check-in and check-out. We plan to return every year.

Good. Our site was reasonably dry after the rainstorm

This is a great campground, they will do whatever they can to make your stay great!

Very clean and well maintained. We had a very private site. Owner and staff awesome. Very close to the city and highway. Would return again perhaps even this month. Kids loved it.

Well I hate to beat a place up but we just spent 5 nights in the mud bogs. Yes there was rain but with some upkeep lay at least some more gravel, camps were under water, camp did lay some pallets down for some to walk on. Laundry outdated. Front entry need a redesign, no room to come in or out, boxed in by laundry and camps. We had a lot of camper noise up to 2 am, rules not enforced. Not again

Staff wonderful and friendly. We did not have a good site. It was right on the edge of the road, with lots of car traffic into the night. Kind of unusual.

We stayed there last year and had a good site. Unfortunately, the pool is not heated and it’s too cold to enjoy it. This year we were in E09 and it was awful. Too small, too crowded and very muddy. I understand that Nova Scotia has had a lot of rain this year but the parking pads need to have more gravel. It’s sad to say but I don’t think that we will be staying there again.

Although there was some nice sites with 2 services, we were at one with all services but really close to the neighbours. To the point where we needed to ask them to move their vehicle to back up our trailer. Little room for the truck after unhooking thus looking into the neighbour's vehicle. Pool was nice and the bathrooms clean. Staff friendly. Did not know about holding tank emptying service.

We had a great time except for the heavy rain on Saturday which no one can control

Yes there was a heavy rain fall prior and during our stay but that does not excuse the site preparation. There was two inches of water on the whole site that could have been easily prevented by having trenches dug around the area. I went and got a lender shovel from the office and cleared the site of water myself.

We got caught in the rain storm and enjoyed every minute of it. Very friendly and accommodating staff!! Thr pancake house was the best!

We arrived late Friday so our booking and a map was left for us at the office. We were given backwards indications to get to the site. Ended up driving around the park at night in the rain so we could park and hook up. The next day at the office when we pointed it out , she laughed and said " Oh well, it doesn't matter, you're here now" I would have been good with I'm sorry.

Owner transferred us to site 007 after seeing one we were scheduled for. Although it rained heavily, we really liked our site. Good laundry, nice showers. Close to Halifax. Will stay there again.

Campground is kept nice.The public restroom and showers we're very clean. Lots of enjoyable amenities available. We will definitely be staying again soon.

Le camping est vieux, quelques mises à jour seraient intéressantes. Personnel aimable.
