Campground was clean and very quiet..loved it here..owners were very friendly and very helpful with any questions we had..will stay here again if back this way and recommend it to anyone we know..give owners and campsite a 10 out of 10

Once or Canopy was out we were on another lot. Couldn’t site outside because the other campers sewer was by our picnic table. The campground was dirty. Store closed at 6pm. Kids running around after dark, using The tricycles you can rent and we’re all over the road and not watching vehicles. Thinking about canceling our KOA membership.

Joe was amazing as always!! Love staying here! Campsites are great - staff is amazing, playground and activities are great for the kids! Great Canada Day celebrations as well! Highly recommend!

Zero maintenance including garbage and recycling and site maintenance including broken electrical outlet which remained untouched even after 3 days Unkempt grounds inhospitable staff poorly kept public washrooms In a nutshell an embarresment to the KOA brand We are long term RV people who have used KOA on multiple locations. Deserving of a serious review by your group.

We had our motorhome in a full hookup, back-in site with trees on 2 sides. Very nice and fairly private.

The staff were friendly, it’s a good location for visiting Halifax, and there is natural beauty. However, of the 14 KOAs (13 President’s and/or Founder’s award winners) we have stayed at in the past year, this was the only one we thought was poorly maintained and dirty. Joe is the best! We stayed for the Canada Day long weekend and it was busy - no issues. Everything you need is on site and the owners do a great job of keeping it all running smoothly. I read previous complaints about washrooms, etc. but it's the same thing you encounter at any public location. If you expect the washrooms to be supervised full-time, camping is probably not for you! :-)

the Halifax KOA was not up to our expectations at all when we pulled in. If fact, we cancelled two nights and forfeited one nights fee and found somewhere else to stay. We have been travelling sine May 11th and have stayed in a variety of KOA'S across Canada and are aware that they vary in facilities but this one was definately not up to the KOA standard we have come to expect.

Wonderful owners who give excellent customer service and very friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere with lots of fun activities for the kids. This is our go to place a few times each summer. We bike, kayak, banana bike, play in the games room, go for pancakes, bounce on the bouncy pillow, get ice cream at the ice cream shack, play on the play ground, shoot hoops and go swimming.

Stayed here 4 nights in a 25 foot rv. Site 22 that we were given was so small our slide would have hit the tree and the passenger door couldn't be opened. Asked for and received site 24 which though still tight was adequate. There is no public transport from this location. The garbage and recycling area needs a refurbish. Dump station was easy to access. We enjoyed our stay in Halifax.

Nous sommes très satisfaits. Le monsieur à l'accueil très gentil et serviable. Votre terrain de camping est assez près de la ville d'Halifax ce qui est un atout. les terrains ne sont pas très grands et assez proches des autres mais pour quelques jours c'est correct. On a aimé la section C.

Everything was great except the pool was very cold. My understanding is that it is heated. If my understanding is incorrect, then the cold pool temps is fine but if it really is heated, I think the heater needs to be looked at. C15 site - great site except the water outlet is very far away. I had two hoses which was the only reason I could connect. Other than those two small items, great tim

Let me just say that Joe is a lovely man but is overworked and understaffed. Sites are very small and tight to your neighbour. Very family oriented and lots of things for kids to do. Laundry and showers definitely a good scrubbing and the wifi leaves a lot to be desired. Pool area is very nice and wood is delivered and reasonably priced. Nice people run this park, but it's just not for us.

My reservation made by phone was not done, so when we got there, there was no record. We arrived at 5 pm, nobody in the office, had to call. Then we were informed to pay when we leave at 9 am, and again there was no one in the office.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
