Camp ground was clean (even the washrooms). Only reason it didn't get 5 stats was location of camp site. Basically right on the lake. Hardly slept the first night cause of the bull frogs and being so close to the highway i could hear the cars on the highway

Washroom was clogged our water site post was broken & the motor cycles visitors next door were very loud when they left at 130am & the trailer parties went on until about 3 am ! So no sleeping for us so we left at around 7 am ! Sorry used to love this place but not anymore!!

We always enjoy our stay! Staff is very friendly and the campground has everything for the kids to do and more! Highly recommended, will be back again and again!

Great for families. Roads congested near the office. Highway noise at all times. Was initially overcharged as the staff insisted I had been undercharged on deposit and had no idea why my addtl days were so much more thn deposit. I returned to the office with my confirmation email showing the correct amount they gave me a refund. But only then did they acknowledge that prices had increased

Nice treed park, quiet at night, conveniently located for our purposes. It appears children enjoy the activities provided. Staff are friendly and the owner is always on site and is ready to help.

Lot was good except for the dog poop on the lawn that wasn't from my dog. I always pick up my dogs poop no matter where she poops. I had to pick up someone else's dogs poop off our lot .

Loved our stay! It’s a yearly trip with my grandkids. We always enjoy you campground! It’s clean, great facilities and lots of activities for the kids!

Perfect stay as always. The Pancake House is fairly priced and makes things easier on check-out day. Very quiet campground with everything you need on-site.

They try and get too many units in as you can almost touch the next unit. Needs so maintenance.

Our stay was amazing, even with a camper still had a site that felt secluded. The staff was amazing. Love the pancake shack with pancakes every morning doesn’t get much better.

Le camping était bruyant de 6h30 à 23h30. Les enfants jouaient sur l'aire de jeux jusqu'a 23h malgré l'indication que les jeux fermaient au coucher de soleil. les toilettes près de l'aire de jeux n'ont pas été nettoyés pendant 3 jours (il y avait des excréments surla lunette de la toilette pendant 3 jours). Les conteneurs de poubelle débordaient pendant 3 jours...

The only down side was being right beside the basket ball court and movie that started at 9pm when we had two young children to get to sleep.

We always love staying at this KOA. Joe and his group are fantastic! Always friendly, always helpful. The spots are perfect especially the ones along the water. And the trees are mature. Much more like a Provincial Park campground than a KOA! Haven’t been in another one that private. And the amenities are great. Grandkids love coming there!

It's well situated, close enough to Helifax with out being to close. The staff are friendly. Washrooms were clean and within walking distance. The campsite was right on the water, with excellent sunset view.

One male office staff was not very friendly at check in. Disappointed in the store. Nice campground. Noted improvements that are being done. Laundry was clean. Would stay again.

I enjoyed the spot I got this time around. If I could have the same spot each time, I would book most of the summer there. Great camp ground.

PRO:great playground,bike rental,free daily movie,multigender bathroom,icecream shack,pancake breakfast. CON: malfunctioning bathrooms(kid got locked in/toilet didn't flu ),sites are smallish&rocky(sharp rocks under tent),very noisy at night(after 10pm) quiet time not enforced, traffic too fast need speed bumps, aggressive squirrels tearing into stuff,movie started too late for kids ok for teens.

Too many sites and activities crammed into the park. The park is not well kept and trash was overflowing around dumpsters.

We found the sites were way to small and very hard to get around and back our camper in. The bike rentals were in a very dangerous location. Too much going on for the small camp ground.

I informed the clerk that I would be a late check in, I was driving a large motorhome. To reach my site I had to squeeze between 2 trees. The one on the right had a cut off stump next to it that was not visible. Two of my cargo doors were severely damaged by this stump. This repair will cost me several thousand dollars. I will be sure to inform my social media group to avoid KOA parks.

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
