Let me just say that Joe is a lovely man but is overworked and understaffed. Sites are very small and tight to your neighbour. Very family oriented and lots of things for kids to do. Laundry and showers definitely a good scrubbing and the wifi leaves a lot to be desired. Pool area is very nice and wood is delivered and reasonably priced. Nice people run this park, but it's just not for us.

My reservation made by phone was not done, so when we got there, there was no record. We arrived at 5 pm, nobody in the office, had to call. Then we were informed to pay when we leave at 9 am, and again there was no one in the office.

The whole staff, I assume they are all family because they are all so happy. They all take your stay at the Halifax West KOA personally, and truly want your stay to be an enjoyable one. My wife and I like to travel around different sites but we always come back to the HFX W KOA. You can see kids running around and having fun like they are supposed to, but they are not in your face. :)

I always enjoy my stay here..there's lots for the kids..I enjoy that it's a quite peaceful campground..very family friendly!!

We had a great time it was our first time there and we had a blast. My son loved the bikes and the jumping pillow. We will definitely be back again

A very charming rustic campground nestled beside the Sackville river. We would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

We stayed in a deluxe cottage. Everything was great except Tv did not work and was informed it wouldn’t be repaired during our 5 night stay. Also internet available but didn’t reach our area.

Joe and his team couldn’t have been more helpful. He jumped back to the office late on a Sunday night because we needed an emergency connection….after we had already checked out. Facility is clean and well run.

Joe at Halifax West KOA is by far the best host I’ve met of any of the KOA’s I’ve stayed at. He was very helpful and accommodating to any and all of my questions. Great guy! KOA is lucky to have him.

This is an overcrowded campground. Rv's, trailers and campers all packed in. Just too many people. Campground looks to need of some repair. Washrooms are OK but somewhat grubby. Probably because of all the visitors crowded into the park.Garbage area is unsightly. After hours noise is not managed and partying going on until 2am. Come on guys you can do better. Not a good stay for us. Will not retur

It was cozy, the fire wood is of great quality and reasonably priced. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Lots to do for the kids!

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
