Pancake and ice cream houses were great. Laundry room needs to be monitored better. Clothes left in washers and dryers for over an hour and campers waiting for someone to come get them. Eventually a person just took out and placed them on table. Branches need to be trimmed back so large trailers don’t get scratched on the sides from them.

The staff and owner were helpful, friendly and engaging! The campground was clean and well cared for! We enjoyed the Max’s Big Scoop ice cream shop and the pancake house very much! We would definitely stay here again if we are anywhere near Halifax again!

We had a large private pull thriugh site. There are a lot of activities including canoeing, bike rentals and the pool. Helpful friendly staff

Our last two nights touring Nova Scotia were spent at the Halifax West site, this turned out to be a good decision. The site is well run, sheltered by trees and with more amenities than we needed. The staff were well organised and cheerful. Thank you!

Great ! Would like to have an adult swim time in the future. Something like pool closes at 8 for kids and 10 for adults. Also hoping you could banish pot smokers to a certain area instead if right by my kid.

Sites were very narrow and short causing people to park on (and almost block) the narrow road. WiFi was virtually nonexistent - you would have it for about 3 minutes then it was gone for hours. Facilities were kept clean.

We always go for camp site 38 but by mistake it was not writen down. So we ended in camp site 39. God bless it was nicer for us. We loved our stay as we did many times before. It’s the best ever Love the owners. We will be back soon.

Lots of amenities. Organized administration. Appreciated the power/electrical adapter that was provided. One further comment - the number of cigarette butts on our site was truly sad. We picked them up but this should not have been necessary. Thank you.

The facility itself was great. However there were multiple adults that felt it was ok to harass my children and even yell at them when they had done nothing wrong at all. Unfortunately it seems like the last few times we have stayed at KOA there was issues with other people that have stayed there. I’m aware that that is beyond the control of the employees at KOA. Unfortunately we won’t be back

We were disappointed with our stay. The site we were assigned was very narrow and difficult to get into. We have a small travel trailer, we are used to tight spaces but this was especially difficult, no room to move on either side or in front. The site was also very unlevel. The final straw was when a group of 16 teenagers set up 8 tents in the site next to ours meaning zero pr. Not a great stay.

The site was nice and had a 50 amp hook up ,which was great on a hot weekend . For the AC . A 3 way hook up would be nice as the line for the dump station on the way out Sunday was busy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. But it is a very noisy environment, the dogs of the neighboring permanent camper were left alone every night and barked all evening. In the laundry room, it was not clean and 2 of the 4 washing machines were out of order. The campsite was not clean, trash was on site when we arrived and the picnic table is in very poor condition. Love the campsite next to the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, well kept. Highway noise is a bit of an issue some evenings.

Me and my family love this place , this is our 2nd year going. They have a lot to do for the kids , the staff is very friendly and helpful. The cabins are my favourite very cute and cozy. Not overly noisy you could definitely get some good relaxation done here.

Good - park, park workers friendly and working hard, showers, bathrooms clean Needs improvement - garbage overflowing near entrance ( not enough staff maybe to keep on top of it), our site was full of large holes we call " ankle breakers" and the park is aware considering they put rocks or cement blocks in them... could be filled with sand instead.

Could remove some large trees going through the park. Kind of tight for big rigs. Sewer hook up to at our site is to high.

Nice setting with great amenities for families. We could tell the owners work hard and receive a lot of repeat business. Unfortunately we found the noise level from the playground unbearable. Perhaps closing it down by 8 pm each evening similar to the pool would be something to consider. Also putting campers with no children far away from it would be appreciated.

Not the nicest KOA. Overnight stay = parking lot atmosphere. Great place if you have little kids but not for mature campers. Disappointed.

This is 2nd year in a row we came for the grandkids who thoroughly enjoy the playground. My comment is the floors are filthy. I know they are going to get dirty running in & out,but they are filthy before we even get there. I know because I spilled water & when wiping it up, the paper towel was black. With cabin 33 there was nowhere to place dish rack. Also your garbage bins fill up really fast.

Great. Staff was nice. The location was nice. Loved the movie night and pancakes in the morning. I feel the staff could use a little more help in the morning for pancakes or an extra tray to cook on. Saturday was a long wait for pancakes but I survived :) also one other suggestion if someone went around and sold wood mid day that would be a fantastic feature instead of me having to drive up to get

Loved the cabin! Will never go back to camping in a tent again! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were well stocked and cleaned frequently. The pool looked pretty cloudy by the end of day but the kids still got in it and had fun. Staff was very friendly. Our cabin was missing a smoke detector (just a heads up). We will be back for sure! We had a great time! Thank you

Camp ground was clean (even the washrooms). Only reason it didn't get 5 stats was location of camp site. Basically right on the lake. Hardly slept the first night cause of the bull frogs and being so close to the highway i could hear the cars on the highway

Washroom was clogged our water site post was broken & the motor cycles visitors next door were very loud when they left at 130am & the trailer parties went on until about 3 am ! So no sleeping for us so we left at around 7 am ! Sorry used to love this place but not anymore!!

Great for families. Roads congested near the office. Highway noise at all times. Was initially overcharged as the staff insisted I had been undercharged on deposit and had no idea why my addtl days were so much more thn deposit. I returned to the office with my confirmation email showing the correct amount they gave me a refund. But only then did they acknowledge that prices had increased

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
