Lots of grass that is very well maintained, from mowing to watering. Plus the water truck that keeps the dust down. Bathrooms are always clean and spacious. The staff are always smiling and friendly. All sights are not on top of each other, lots of space between.

The grass looks like the Augusta, golf course, the donkeys and goats wandering about were a welcome site. The owner was a truly interesting fellow. Loved the whole place and will be back.

Beautiful setting on a well maintained site. Easy to get in and out, and very quiet at night. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. A hidden Gem for sure! Can't wait to come back.

Very clean campground. Friendly staff. Area has a lot of things to do. There was a rodeo in town as well as carnival. River rafting. Lots of other events. Enjoyed our stay. Will be back

Unique and beautiful—many animals to pet and beautiful green grass to park on. It’s a restful, soothing place to be. Dave and Susie Taylor are wonderful hosts.

Great Park! Dave and his crew do a terrific job with this KOA. Clean, efficient and with lots of real, green grass! Near all the action. This was our second, extended stay visit and like MacArthur said: "We shall return". ~Stan (aka: The Dogfather)

We enjoyed staying at Gunnison KOA. By far our best KOA stay. RV site 9 was awesome. The shade and space was a big plus. Thank you so much for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

It makes a difference when the owners are on site to manage and look over everything. There was green grass everywhere in 90 degree heat. They start b-4 8 and I have no idea what time they end. There are 2 parts of this site that are beyond awesome - 1) internet is fantastic and 2) if you have kiddo's buy a bag of carrots (25 cents) to feed the animals!!!

Very nice campground. I was disappointed in being assigned to site 48 which was right next to the office/bathrooms. I made my reservation in September and asked to be near our friends. Site 48 was the least desirable location. Everything was full so we had no choice to change sites we spent most of our time at our friends site Overall loves the green grass trees and open space

We have stayed here 2 summers in a row and love it! Our children enjoy feeding the animals and riding their bikes through the park. The playground is clean and sturdy, the bathroom facilities are extremely well-maintained, and the all-grass sites are unparalleled.

Love Dave and Susie. They are so friendly and helpful. The campground is beautiful with lots of space, green grass and trees. We always enjoy the pets as well. Very clean!

Staff was hit or miss. Not much shade here and the airport jets made me feel like I lived on an Air Force base. Showers were old. Game room filled with junk.

accommodations were clean, the park had grass and it was well maintained they take pride in maintaining the grounds and rv sites.

Even though I’m 80 yrs old, I still loved seeing and petting the donkeys and the goats! Just like a kid I guess! The campground was quiet and the hosts were very attentive to anyone’s needs.

We had a huge space for our 5th wheel with plenty of room for our 2 Labradors. We would definitely stay there again. Very quiet and close to services. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We love this KOA. Best staff, well kept, beautiful, and clean. Dave is a gem. We were impressed that the roads throughout were sprayed to keep the dust down with the gusty winds we experienced. We will be back again.

Well maintained property. The grass minimized the dust and kept the campsite cooler. Nice size camp spots. One of the nicer KOA's we have stayed at.

Well I have to say we were not to happy. The restrooms were always out of TP or paper towels. The ash bin never got emptied. When we got there I wanted space number 7 and I was told it was reserved. When I called to reserve a site I was told I couldn't reserve a specific site. What's up with that double standard ? People kept parking in my site and leaving their stinky Diesel trucks running .

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
