Great place to stay ! The grounds are beautiful, grass sites with huge trees for shade and comfort ! We have recommended this KOA to couple friends already !

We had a great stay at the deluxe cabin - it was perfect for our short visit! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had a stove top and almost full size refrigerator- plenty big for what we needed. We loved visiting with the animals. We’ll be back!

I would Happily give this KOA a 10 rating if it was available. The people, the grounds are all Impeccable . The showers, and restrooms are so clean and well attended. We Highly recommend Gunnison KOA to everyone, young and old.

The little "A" frame cabin I stayed in was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom being a pretty long walk from the cabin which was no fun in the middle of the night.

The sites were nice and big, the bathrooms VERY clean and it was clearly posted so you knew when they would be closed. The donkeys were a hit with my son Jenny was his favorite. I did wish they still had a pond to fish in but we made do. Thank you for the nice stay.

I had a great experience at the Gunnison KOA. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. A great place with amenities and animals! I hope that a clearer path from the cabins to the bathroom will be established once the new tent sites are created.

Great location close to town, and love all the grass sites. Well maintained and clean. Fun place for kids too.

We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love the Gunnison KOA and KOA Dave. Wonderful spot and host. The only thing that was different this year was the folks staying did not respect the 10pm quiet hours and the camp continued to stay loud night after night. Hoping more mitigation on quite hours can be respected and upheld by guests.

The animals are just magical, friendly creatures and great around kids. The owners are great and so nice. The place is very well taken care of. You can tell the owners and staff love what they do.

The Gunnison KOA is definitely one of our favorite campgrounds. They are always friendly here. We love having the donkeys, goats and horses around to make things interesting. Our last stay was as nice as always. Would definitely recommend.

I rated the campground 4 stars based on the the people who work there. Michele and the crew seem to really enjoy their work. In addition the campground is also a petting zoo with donkeys, goats and ponies. On the negative side the sites are crowded. We stayed at site 24 and fortunately the site adjacent to ours was empty. We were there to explore the black canyon which is amazing.

While the park was lovely, the animals ( mini horses, donkeys) were in definite need of care. Their hooves were WAY too long which is very painful to the animals when they walk. It brought down the whole vibe of our camping trip. If I was just rating tbe

Lovely quiet campground near the airport. Airplane noise was limited as ir is off season and few planes came and went. Near the river. The grounds are pretty and I enjoyed the many animals on the premises. Wifi was good.

My cabin was clean when I received it. I loved to see the animals running around. The entire campground looked clean and well kept. All of the folks I associated with were friendly and helpful. thanks for a great place to stay! Steve

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
