All was great, Kamp K-9 could have been mowed. Grass was a little tall. Other than that, great stay and will be back again. Thanks.

Great location, super cabin " kottage", pet friendly, and entertaining animals on the property. Will definitely be back...loved it!!!

Nice campground with Nice personnel, good clean restrooms, shop. Some noice of the nearby airfield but not at night. Lots of little flies due to still water nearby.

Very nice place; we enjoyed the farm animals! (Although we don’t travel w/kids, we saw how much joy the animals bring to the children, nice feature)! Lisa at check in & Sue for answering questions we’re very helpful & nice! Tent camping covered tables, sink & bbq available; again we didn’t use, but nice! This is a very nice place! We enjoyed our stay & did lots of hiking in the area-tha

Everything was going great with my stay, until there was a misunderstanding about the last day. I was informed I had exceeded the 7-Day maximum for a tent site and told I had to leave immediately. It appears that it was my fault but after being at this campsite probably 7 or 8 times I would have liked to have seen them give me some sort of an alternative option. There were plenty of vacancies

Always a great stay at the Gunnison KOA. Nice facilities and always kept clean and the grass is always green.

The environment is amazing. The animals are so cute and friendly. My kids were able to ride a horse named Charlie. The pond across the road is an amazing fishing spot. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The grass sites were very nice and well manicured. The staff is all very friendly!

Beautiful grounds, with lots of room to roam - loved all the animals. Everything in working order with spacious sites Bathrooms better and cleaner than a five star hotel! Staff very friendly and helpful!

Loud campers, screaming kids, barking dogs starting at 630am so no peace and quiet until about 900pm. Airplanes due to right next to airport oh and livestock loose on the grounds. Won't be staying here again.

Nice place to camp. Loved the livestock! Check-in was confusing - shared water source without a splitter. Had to go back to the office twice for assistance. Short-staffed.

Really convenient location to town. You have to like airplanes landing and taking off, which I do. It is not that frequent though. A couple in the morning and a couple in the early evening, and then it is quiet.

This place is great. Great for kids and love the animals! Way better than just a KOA JOURNEY. The only reason it didn’t get the highest marks are the misquote infestation. It’s was so unbearable even with spray on, fire going and a candle burning. So things are uncontrollable but I really think the pond makes it sooooo much worse. I think we might try to come back in the fall after those nasty

This is a very nicely taken care of and clean campground. It far enough off the highway that we did not hear the highway traffic in our tent. The only reason that I would not give it a 5 is that it did not seem to have a tent area. Tents were mixed in with the RV’s which can be noisy on a warm night with the air conditioners running.

We were very pleased with our 2-night stay. The facilities are well kept and clean. Although next to the airport, this is not an issue since during our stay given the light volume of traffic, and that the first flight of the day was at about 8am and the final flight was about 8pm. We weren't around much during the day anyway, since there is so much to do in the area!

Campground was really well cared for. Sites were well spaced. Staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The location near Gunnison and the Gunnison River are great. I would have given a 5 except that there are not a lot of amenities, like a playground for kids, though there are cool animals! We would definitely stay there again. This KOA and the one in Townsend, Tennessee are my top two.

Its December, 2023. Via phone, found out this is a seasonal campsite, no Winter camping. Host was very friendly
