Thanks for a great stay during our evacuation from Hurricane Irma.

We liked having the cottage and its amenities. Kind of disappointing that it didn't have a fire pit like the tent/rv sites.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you! Yes our cottages do have fire rings if ever one is missing please let us know we would be glad to bring you one.

This KOA campground is so well run. As a refugee from Hurricane Irma, this was my first experence staying in a "campground". The management should be proud of their service to the community. We will be back for a real vacation (without a hurricane!). Thanks.

Good stay. Floors looked clean but were not. Bottom of feet were black from walking on floor. Other than that, stay was good.

The website states you have cable-it was not working The website states you have a sauna-you do not have a sauna and the manager was very rude when I asked about it. The community grill is filled with weeds and grass and not usable There are low hanging branches at your only exit which scraped the whole top of our RV. Grounds are not well kept and need some landscaping. Playground is very ol

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for letting us know about the branches we have now cut them down. although We do not have an inferred sauna we do have a hot tub pool and fishing pier on the bay. We receive many compliments on our retro horsey swings so we keep them :)

Absolutely loved it! Was very quite an peaceful... Great view! Will be visiting again very soon!!

Very friendly and courtious staff. Very clean sites. A great place to have been while escaping a hurricane. Would go back again anytime.

Great stay while escaping Hurricane Irma. Staff friendly and helpful.

RUDE RUDE RUDE staff. NO compassion for customers that had homes flooded in the hurricane. Paid full OVER priced price for what they called premium site. Rusted grill, old wood porch, VERY uneven dirt site charging OVER $50.00 a night. They refuse to pick up trash at the site like most KOAs do. NO handicap safety bars in toilets or showers. This is THE WORST KOA I ever stayed in. EVER

We stayed at this campground after being evacuated from South FL because of hurricane Irma. The entirw staff was very friendly, welcoming and accomodating when we didnt know how long the stay would be. I will highly revommend this campground and hope to visit again as a result of the positive experience!

Very unhappy!!! The sites were very small to say the least for our 29'... Our neighbors waste drainage was so close to our outdoor area. Public bathrooms smelled like old urine. We litteraly felt like we were in a holding area while hurricane Irma came through our state. Minimal hospitality was given to us. Heard so many beautiful stories from other campground campers, wish we could say the same!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes due to the hurricane we were packed we even had people staying in storage because these poor families had no place to go we are so sad for them. Please let us know if bathrooms needs attention other then the twice daily they are cleaned.

Very Bad Wi-Fi and cable did not work or barely worked. Could not get channels to come in. Other campers came by and said the same thing. Wish they had more bathrooms for as many people that were at the camp. I know it was very busy but 2 toilets and 3 showers for all the men on property is pretty slim.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm truly sorry lightning hit our cable we are working on it. I am sorry you missed the extra bathhouse we have at the bay.

We stayed at this KOA during the hurricane Irma evacuation. It was their off season, so they were shorter staffed than usual. Everyone was friendly and helpful in what must have been very trying times and likely longer than expected hours of work for them. One employee pulled her RV out of the park so they could squeeze one more evacuee in.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great neighbor Ken from "Upstate" New York that helped us find our site as we cam in late at night. Great place and beautiful views.

Everyone was friendly and the site was wonderfully clean and well kept

We evacuated Zephyrhills FL to get away from Hurricane Irma. The staff at Lost Bay KOA were very hospitable & our stay was very comfortable.

Very courteous staff and actually stayed during time there were hurricane evacuees in campground. Staff went above and beyond to help them and make their stressful time the best it could be! We will definitely be back here again!

Stayed there a few days to avoid irma. Nice people. Some crowded sites but we didn't care. Other sites have more room. Nice water views.
Sep 11, 2017
Staff was rude and unhelpful to evacuees from hurricane Irma. Wifi and cable didn't work. Our site was not a TRUE pull through. Had to move our truck. Water had excessive sand. View was the ONLY good thing.

Weâve been traveling a year & have stay at 36 KOAâs and are going to rate this one as the worst of all 36. The most absurd part was that we reserved a âpull-thruâ site, and how rudely we were treated trying to park in the site that was not pull thru. The entrance is steep and we dragged our trailed bumper, the site was uneven, the space is just a grassy field, the cable and wifi does't wor

Trip was very good. Campground, bathhouse and showers very clean. Pool very nice and employees very nice and helpful. Site was not great but acceptable. Location a little out of the way but loved being able to walk to the water.

We really enjoyed the view of the bay from our cabin!

We were only there a short time 9:00 pm to 5:00 am. It was dark out. But we didn't have any problems pulling through for the evening. Just wished we could have walked to the beach and wasn't so far from I10. As we were just passing by anyway.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Yes we love it here off the beaten path wish you could have stayed to see how beautiful it is! Come back soon.

Had a great time and made some new friends but our yard stayed under water the whole time we were there. Will probably not stay there again.
Sep 05, 2017
Loved the campground and staff!! Will definitely recommend to others and hope to be back soon! Thanks so much!
Sep 05, 2017
It was good, Fairly quiet until the load of screaming kids appeared. I appreciated the good pull thru spot and the ease of maneuvering my truck and 5th wheel without the danger of hitting anything. I did not appreciate the camper load of screaming kids right next to us. there were plenty of sites available and did not have to be given the site next to us so close i could touch their awning.

Stay over Labor Day Weekend. Sites were available and staff helpful. Spaces are a bit tight with slides but well maintained and porches nice addition.

Small pleasant spot, on the bay, but needs some TLC.
Aug 29, 2017
We had a great stay. The amenities were great! It is quiet and out of the way. We enjoyed the area and the town is not too far away. A place to really relax!
Aug 29, 2017
We have stayed at this resort numerous time times in one of the deluxe cabins. Our cabin number was 5. My biggest complaints are that the place was dirty, the bathroom smelled very mildew and the maintenance of the place is not up to standard. Walls needed cleaning, the bath tub needed a complete scouring with comet or a similar product, the pots and pans were burnt and should have been replaced.
Aug 28, 2017
the cabin was amazing! we had a wonderful time and it was very comfortable. the price was awesome! cant wait to stay again!
Aug 28, 2017
The workers were friendly and very helpful, but the facilities and cabins could use some TCL. Maintenance could be very much improved and they had little to no activities at the campground. In addition the laundry and store all closed very early. Don't think we will return. Was mediocre at best.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our laundry is open 24/7 and office is open till 8pm on weekends 7pm on weekday during peak season.
