Overall our stay was pretty good. The beds in the sleeping cabins could have been alittle more comfortable but they were doable for the time were there. We loved the pool and all the staff were great people. We meet some very nice friendly people while hanging out in the pool and playground area. The walk up to the pool from our cabins was awful and we made it up everyday.

We had a great stay July 4 2023. We stayed in the covered wagon (1st time). The wagon was very comfortable, nice and cool in the heat wave. All employees were nice and friendly.

First time campers here and stayed for fourth of July weekend. Bathhouses are remodeled so very nice, has a beautiful pier that sits on the bay where you can fish, and swim. Very friendly environment, surrounded by families. Pool is small, but it was good enough for us. They had food trucks out and live music. Definitely will be staying again soon!

Was great. Thanks. Staff was very willing to help i had vehicle trouble and was unsure if i was going to be able to make my original departure date and they immediately found me a option to get me through getting my car back from shop

We have stayed here for the last 9 years. Some nice improvements have been made but there are some improvements still needed: pool is deteriorating and the hot tub timer did not work. The shower head in the bathhouse by the bay needs to be fixed/replaced. There were roaches in the cabins this year. Overall - a peaceful/beautiful spot to stay and staff was very nice.

Staff was very friendly and personable. But, not very knowledgeable about the area. Our campsite had an overwhelming sewer smell and our campfire ring was within a foot or two or the neighbors sewer line dump, not so nice to sit at campfire and cook s’mores looking at, and smelling sewage. NO HANDICAP ACCESS TO THE BEACH AREA!!!! There is a steep hill.. I never was able to see the water.

Cabin was clean. Bathrooms were not. Spider webs, dead bugs, etc. I understand being outdoors but the housekeeping can still clean. I’ve been to plenty KOAs and all have been cleaned from floor to ceiling.

Sites are small. Someone should reevaluate what size RV should go in a site. I barely fit. Had to depart through the entrance. Person next to me had their table on my sewer connection.

Nice shady spot. Bathhouse close by. But the grounds were kept nice and clean and many flowers. The pool was nice also. The workers were polite and friendly and very accommodating!

Your spots are too small! We barely fit in and couldn’t leave the way we should have due to little space between us and other sites. Your spots need to be bigger and get rid of the winding curve big rigs and trailers can’t take that area with all the trees. Staff was nice. Will never be back

I stayed in one of the cabins without a kitchen. I am a camper, so the accommodations were okay. I brought my sheets and essentials. holes in door allowed bugs to invade my bed. Wish i had brought a fan to help keep them off my bed.

We had a great time really enjoyed our stay staff is great very friendly and helpful great location The only thing we did not like was the RV sites were not concrete or ashphalt very rough large rocks other than that we had a great time

Really good stay the sites can be very tight depending on the site. We stay one night in the economy site and then asked to move luckily there was an open site to move to. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great location and quite location. Between Pensacola and Gulf Shores beaches and plus short trip to NAS Pensacola. This KOA worked great for our trip to AL/FL beaches!!

The place was nice, with the bay and private beach. What made this a bad stop was the office. I asked to move one spt over for the view. They said another camper was coming that next day. To my surprise no camper showed and it was vacant for my entire stay there. I don't know why she wouldn't move me and she didn't have to lie. Been to to many KOA's for this type of crap. Won't visit or recommend

Gulf Shores /Pensacola West KOA was one of our least favorite KOA’s to stay. Although it seemed as though they were trying to upgrade some of the area, quite a lot needed improvements. We were at a “preferred” spot, and thankfully so because all the other sites were VERY tight. Street light right above us. Staff hardly seen and not very friendly. (There for 2 weeks… won’t go again)

Enjoyable stay. We rented a cabin that sleeps four. The cabin could use some updating. Bed definitely needed a new frame very squeaky. Every time you moved made a lot of noise just rolling over definitely could use something in the bedroom where you can put your phone or things on the side to bed. Needed something different for TV to sit on not inviting when you walk in and that’s the 1st you se

This campground has so much to offer. The camp spots are nice. The pool is nice. There are lots of cabins available, even down by the bay. The best part is the bay right down the hill from the campground. We loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise. Very relaxing. The staff is great. We only stayed one night but it is a place we wished we would have had more time to spend there. Enjoy!!

Fort Pickens closed due to storm. This KOA provided exceptional service and accommodation when we needed a temporary place to stay. Cute KOA!
