Awesome park, great level sites, 2 dog parks and a trail through a lava field. Can order dinner and they deliver to your site. Bathroom and showers were spotless. Quiet park. This was our 2nd time at this KOA

The people who run this place are awesome, friendly, accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had food that night when we pulled in late. They even have pancakes and cereal for breakfast, and free tea and coffee.

Nice KOA surrounded by wide open sky. Was quiet despite being near interstate. Staff is wonderful and they serve a fabulous dinner brought right to your site. We had the Turkey dinner and the barbecued ribs and brisket, and it was excellent, home-cooked food. Got a good night’s sleep here. Would definitely stay here again if passing this way. 5 stars all the way!!

Okay for one night. The big issue, not your fault, is I-40. I will avoid driving on it! Too risky for equipment. The road from Gallop to Cortez is even worse.

We were so impressed with this campground! We stayed in site #1, the patio site, and it was a lovely spot. The patio had a fire pit, Adirondack chairs and a dining table, plus a propane grill - everything you need and then some! Site was plenty long enough to leave our tow vehicle connected. We ordered a yummy dinner, too, so we didn’t have to cook! We’d make this a regular stopping point!

Grounds were pristine, owners were friendly and helpful. Complimentary freshly baked cookies and continental breakfast were a really nice touch. Bathrooms were really nice with new tile on floors, walls and showers and they were really clean.

Unique feature is the fenced Pit Stop for dogs right as we pulled in front of the office to check in, in addition to the Kamp K9. Walking trails to lava field with signs explaining what was in the distance. Free pancake breakfast and homemade dinners available at night, delivered to camper. Staff friendly and helpful. Great camp store.

I cannot say enough about the staff. Our dog went into emergency surgery, and they let us take our time leaving our spot and let us put our trailer on the side. Additionally, they said if we were gone because our dog was kept for a few days and needed someone to get her, they would be happy to. Unfortunately she passed away, but we will remain grateful to the staff!

The staff here are lovely. It was such an inviting place. The area is clean, there is an informative walking trail, fresh cookie at check in, pancake breakfast in the morning. There general store had everything you might need and the laundry room had multiple machine. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Very friendly staff and very efficient. The food available on site is a sheer pleasure after a long day of travel, and delivered to your site, too! Love the "journey" designation for KOAs.... a quick and safe place to stop while on the road.

This is our absolute favorite KOA and we’ve used KOA in 90% of our travels across the continental United States. They staff are beyond friendly and helpful and their dinner delivery is not only convenient, it’s delicious. We also loved the free all you can eat pancake breakfast. I was fascinated by the touchless machine. We love the nature walk with the signs explaining the area’s features.

We were only at Grants KOA for a single evening. The checkin was easy and they provided fresh cookies for each of us. Our specific spot was a little odd in setup from what we have experienced. We had to pull our truck up really far for the electrical to reach. We were impeding into the traffic pass through area.

We always stay at koa's. The kindness and compassion shown to us especially on this day was awesome. Our dog came up sick and required emergency care and we were given recommendations and shown compassion during this difficult time. The owners and staff at this site was so friendly and welcoming. This site was so well kept and beautiful. We will always stay at this site during our travels

The lady in the office was super friendly. Campground was fine for an overnight stay. Love the dog park. We would stay there again.

Fantastic little corner in Grants! We rented the RV since we couldn't pack for camping on a larger scale. We were met by Kevin at check-in, he is a gem! Wonderful, clean RV that was turned down for us with all the amenities. They have a neat pancake maker setup for breakfast and we enjoyed going each morning & we were always met with happy helpful staff! Met the owners of the locations and they both are wonderful people who know how to run a Kampground! Highly recommend if you need a stay while traveling through the area

Great camping spot for your road trip. This was our first time at a KOA and we were impressed. The tent spot was comfortably wide enough for our rig with the RTT open and room to sit and enjoy a campfire. The staff were so friendly, almost like family. The dessert, delivered to our site was great and there was coffee in the AM. The restrooms were wicked clean. We will be back. A great stay!

Great overnight stop near interstate 40 in Grants NM. It appeared to not have any permanent campers but it filled up with one night rv campers on a Monday night. Clean laundry, well stocked store, play area, free pancake breakfast and also offers cooked meals. Very friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this park
