Unique volcanic views in a peaceful desert setting are what you will find when visiting The Settlemire's campground. The decision to purchase their KOA campground came in September 2022 as the couple decided to add a Second campground location to their KOA Family. We enjoy camping and the outdoors but most importantly we LOVE meeting people from all different places. We feel honored that we get to be a small part in helping to create long lasting family memories.

James & Kristan enjoy the location of the campground and encourage getting outside to see the local attractions. Paired with a friendly atmosphere, they love to share opportunities for fun and adventure with their campers. Their customer service allows the best camping in the area and the country. Our KOA has been awarded KOA'S  pretigeous Founders Award for 2022 & 2023 since taking over the campground.

The Grants area in northwestern New Mexico is one of the best recreational areas in this part of the country, There is more here than most people know. In one day, campers can hike among ancient lava flow trails and then relax in the comfort of the cool evening back at the KOA. We have a unique high desert setting.
