Very friendly staff..They appear to have done a lot of work, however need to get the weeds under control. I mentioned to office staff that Richfield KOA was having trees dying due to drought and lack of Iron. They were injecting iron around there big trees.

We were there for a single nite. It looked like it was a good stop for families as it had a pool and playground for the little ones. Our stay was brief, but quiet. I wish these parks would grow some grass for the pets and have some around the RV spots. They had a few but looked "select" spots had grass and amenities.

Everything was great about this KOA except that the water and electricity was at the front of our site. Our power barely reached and the water did not. On the plus side, clean bathhouse, friendly staff, and good environment. Also, lots of activities!

Very nice staff, clean and quiet campground. Lots of shade and space to open our slide. Plus, they are just down the road from The Creamery, a dairy foods store and cafe like no other!

We love spending our fair week at the KOA. It’s been a tradition for many years for our family. Please don’t forget to call us for next year for our space for the fair!

As always we love this KOA. We stay for the whole week during the Mesa County Fair as our daughter shows pigs there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The grounds are neat and tidy. I would highly recommend this campground to friends and family.

Great location. Well kept. Maintenance needed completed on trees and a phone call with a "heads-up" was given. The tree trash was left all over the top of my camper including the slide and awning. I asked for help via a phone message. I hired a kid to help after I sprayed off all I could. Otherwise it was enjoyable and the staff were always pleasant to interact with and were always visible.

The campground was clean. We had an issue the first morning with a man mowing the lawn at about 8 am. The second morning an employee turned on the water sprinklers at 8 am. That left the grass wet and soggy. The fair next door was loud until about 11 pm both nights. The price of our stay was changed about $40 because the fair was going on. SO overall, not a good stay.

Great facilities and helpful staff! I didn’t realize how close the fairgrounds were to the campground. The county fair had started so things were really busy. Not a problem, just a pleasant surprise.

We booked a single night for our trip home to Arizona and weren’t informed about the carnival at the fairgrounds that was going on that night. The music blasted until 11 pm. I also think the dog area is the worst I’ve seen in any RV park. The staff at check in were friendly but I think they could have warned us about the noise.

Quick overnight stay, passing through. Very clean and well kept up property. Didn't know the grass rule until 9am knock on door to move stuff off grass. More annoying than anything else as the person turning the watering on was a bit terse. All good, moved stuff but wish we knew at check in. We had a great stay. Would stay again.

We stayed at this KOA twice in 2 weeks and had numerous packages delivered while we were away, they are the best, so friendly and accommodating. The entire staff is outstanding!

We had a deluxe site that was very well kept. All the staff was nice didn't seem to stop taking care of the grounds.

We only stayed a night traveling through, but this was one of the better KOA's we've stayed at, in terms of the grounds, location and amenities. The check in process was smooth and friendly. The sites were nicely spaced along with some shade. We were actually in D01 which was a level pull-through site closest to the office and Jump pad. Lots of good amenities for families. Nice location.

Stayed 3 nights in a deluxe patio site. The park was really nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean, but a bit outdated. Staff was good. Laundry room was clean. Washers and dryers worked.

Easy and friendly check in. Our pull through site was just the right length of or us. Each site has a section of grass, a picnic table and fire pit. Shower rooms were clean and there were a good number of them. Hot water right away and they were clean. Check out was a breeze and because we had to leave earlier due to my health we were refunded the the last night there. The young man was so kind.

We enjoyed our time there. Make sure you visit Monument Park, it is worth the short drive. Watching all the various fireworks displays on July 4th was also fun.

The only item I would improve is to open the pool earlier than 9am. Adults without kids might then use it while kids are busy doing other things. Once the kids start using the pool, which is typically later in the day, we leave and do other things.

We were there for 12 days and everyday was a pleasure. The staff was very helpful and always tried to accommodate us. We highly recommend staying there.

The KOA Holiday in Grand Junction, CO is by far the best RV park in Grand Junction, and there are a number of them here. We have family in the area so we have stayed at all but two of the other parks but once we tried the KOA we had found our second home. We have stayed here multiple times through the years and the owners remember us every time and even remember I've had some health issues. They are just the nicest people you would ever want to meet. This year when we came in for the holidays a snow storm was chasing us and we were one day ahead of it. The owners agreed to let us come a day earlier than our reservation and we got in and set up before the snow started to fly. Our grandkids love coming to stay with us here and enjoy all the amenities (the pool, the game room, mini golf and the bounce pad). The place is maintained meticulously and every year we find new improvements have been made. The wifi was upgraded this year and it's even possible to stream on your tv now. The hookups are great all year long, even water. Cable tv is, like many rv parks we've stayed in, not the clearest but it works and we get tv over the antenna as well. All the rv spaces are spacious and have a paved area with a table and grass for our dogs and the pull throughs are long enough for the largest rigs. There are two dog parks as well. The spaces have a good amount of gravel and upgraded spots are awesome. They have covered picnic tables, large grassy areas, a bench and a gas bbq. I just can't recommend KOA Holiday Grand Junction enough.
