Campground Reviews

The basic Kamping cabin was less basic than usual. It had a TV, fridge, microwave, lights above the bed, gas grill, patio furniture and a grassy semi-private area. The bathroom and cabin were clean. The location is convenient for I70 travel. Perfect for one night.

KOA campgrounds have come a long way. If you're ready to get out of the boondocks for a while and have a little camping comfort, KOA is the place to stay. Over the top friendly people and well maintained grounds and facilities.

The Grand Junction KOA is without doubt the nicest KOA we've had the opportunity to stay at. Our one night stay turned into three nights due to adverse weather, and I can't imagine a nicer location to be grounded. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the showers are the best designed and maintained of any we've experienced. We highly recommend visiting the Colorado National Monument.

Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. We had to make an unplanned stop due to rental van problems. It was a great place to relax during a stressful time!

Easy, convenient, great place to stay. We made a last minute reservation and checked in after hours. The process was smooth and the communication was excellent. Bravo!

Staff is very friendly, park is clean and it is a full service park, i.e. has propane, a store with camping supplies, etc. Wi-Fi is good. Roads are easy to navigate and the park is close to alot of resturaunts, gas, etc. We would stay here again.

Not a particularly attractive place to stay. My site was located between two wooden fences. Essentially a parking lot. Road noise quite prevalent.

The staff and facility was very good. Friendly helpful staff, clean restrooms and grounds. We were kicked out though because of a HATEFUL man staying with his aggressive little dogs. My dog got away from me for 5seconds and this man started yelling, kicking at my dog, screaming at me when I got my dog!!! I had to kindly ask him twice to take his barking nipping dogs away from my dog, dangerous man

The KOA in Grand Junction is beautiful. Wonderful, huge cottonwood trees. Each campsite is well-defined with their own lawn. The back-in sites have privacy fencing. The showers are immaculately clean. There are two gates that lead out to areas and trails for strolling or hiking with your dog. The staff (Tammy and Carly) is friendly, professional and helpful. We loved our stay there.

Just there one night but I have not been in a KOA campground in over 50 years. We were pleasantly surprised and will plan on using KOAs in the future. Really appreciate the host checking us in as we arrived shortly before closing time.

Quick 1 night stop. I purchased a trailer right down the road from KOA - so bought trailer, pulled into KOA for the night before drive back to TX. Great staff - everyone very nice. One gentleman even stopped to help us figure out how to disconnect the sway/weight equalizer hitch.

2023 is my 5th season at Grand Junction KOA. Everyone here is very friendly and the campground and facilities are nice and clean. Playground, mini golf, pavilion/theatre, pool available for guests enjoyment.

Quiet campground, super clean bathrooms, friendly staff. The only negative is that we rolled in late and didn’t have the bathhouse code but a call to security (quickly answered) solved that.

Great campsite, accommodating hosts. I have stayed for a long weekend previously in a deluxe cabin and this trip was just one night in a camper cabin. Nice quiet location and clean facilities.

A very nice KOA. The staff was great. Location to attractions was good. Highway noise is the only downside.

The KOA Holiday in Grand Junction, CO is by far the best RV park in Grand Junction, and there are a number of them here. We have family in the area so we have stayed at all but two of the other parks but once we tried the KOA we had found our second home. We have stayed here multiple times through the years and the owners remember us every time and even remember I've had some health issues. They are just the nicest people you would ever want to meet. This year when we came in for the holidays a snow storm was chasing us and we were one day ahead of it. The owners agreed to let us come a day earlier than our reservation and we got in and set up before the snow started to fly. Our grandkids love coming to stay with us here and enjoy all the amenities (the pool, the game room, mini golf and the bounce pad). The place is maintained meticulously and every year we find new improvements have been made. The wifi was upgraded this year and it's even possible to stream on your tv now. The hookups are great all year long, even water. Cable tv is, like many rv parks we've stayed in, not the clearest but it works and we get tv over the antenna as well. All the rv spaces are spacious and have a paved area with a table and grass for our dogs and the pull throughs are long enough for the largest rigs. There are two dog parks as well. The spaces have a good amount of gravel and upgraded spots are awesome. They have covered picnic tables, large grassy areas, a bench and a gas bbq. I just can't recommend KOA Holiday Grand Junction enough.
