Have what you need when you get here, stores are 9 mikes away! Having said that, we needed milk, store was out, however, they brought a bottle to me the next day! THATS service! Also pizza available during office hours, and they deliver that as well! Very Quiet, overnight and short stays are to the south end, clean restrooms and showers! Nice relaxing park, close proximity to other sites,

Had a cable box but no cable. The ladies in the office were pleasant and even found some pizza crust so we could have pizza for supper. After fighting the wind all day, it was good to have quiet night at the Grande Island KOA.

The sites are very close together and the park was nearly full. There was no toilet paper in the men's room on Sunday night.

Nice place to a night while traveling. Just far enough from the highway that the noise wasn't bad. I think we had stayed there several years ago as well.

advertised cable tv, but was informed no cable available. Campground is very dusty due to unpaved roads near campground and trucks blowing dust all day long. Friendly Staff, quiet nights, sites are very close to each other. Will probably consider staying if our future travels bring us this way again.

We checked in after hours, got to our site and the neighbor parked their camper the wrong way and they were using our site. They did not try to fix it, just told us there were only there for the night... bathrooms were OK, outdoor prep tables were very dirty, dog area full of poo and not mowed

We would have liked the pizza area to remain open beyond 5 PM on Friday. We checked in at 445 and unable to get pizza!!

Friendly people. Last 2 times we have stayed, they had no pizza as advertised. Staying again in a week and if there is no pizza, we will be staying somewhere else in the future.

Nice area but sewer connections are bad no way to hold hose in fitting wife had to keep her foot on hose while I woked the trailer valve.

Deluxe cabin was nice. Roku TV was hard to use, finally got to some channels. Please provide some simple instructions. The laundramat was subpar, 3 machines were broken. Only had one night to get laundry done, had to wait in line/sit in the room to get an open machine. :-( Also NO ICE on site! Front desk staff very nice! Voicemail box was full, couldn't get through for help.

Our reservation was given to another camper, office was closed, we were there before 5pm. No one answered phone. Finally found a volunteer who assigned a new site after scolding me for bothering her when she wasn't even suppose to be working.

We loved this KOA! It was right off the interstate; we pulled right in. We were delighted to find that they served pizza and upon checking in, ordered one to be delivered after 5. That sure hit the spot. Had a quiet night and rten hit the road early the next morning. We will stay here again!

Super convenient, we will be back again next year. We did have an issue with the water smelling bad so we couldnt use the shower or water in the cabin. But we weren't around a lot and had showers available at the fairgrounds so did not complain. Other than that, great experience and we will be back next year!

Stay at the Grand Island KOA every September and the staff was great. The only reason this is a 4 star vs 5 star is due to no television in the cabin.

A month before our arrival the staff was VERY helpful in ensuring we got a site that met the configuration of our camper. Upon check-in lady at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and professional. Our site was reasonably level and all hook-ups worked fine. The park was clean, has very easy access from the interstate but is far enough away that there was minimal road noise.

The KOA has gone down hill since last year. We have stayed there for the last five years and was one of our go to KOA while in the Grand Island area. This visit was different ... dog park was not kept up (poop everywhere), some sites with campers were trashy, pizza was not offered like in the past except by 4:30, and office closed early so the store was not available later in the afternoon,

Good overnight stop. Used the bathroom shower, ran out of hot water after 2 minutes. Was not thrilled with cold shower.

Very nice only thing to add is that we over nighters were very cozy as the sights were too close together.

We stayed for one overnight and unfortunately it was very hot with no breeze. Bathrooms were good, bugs were bad.

This was a great campground for the Sandhill Crane migration. The bathhouse was open, warm and clean for those who haven't de-winterized. Loads of cranes in the surrounding corn fields, and a short drive to both Crane trust and Audubon. The campground hosted a reception on Saturday afternoon with crane info, snacks and drinks. Pizza is delicious. Lots of areas to let the dogs play in the K9 runs.

Very very clean and well stocked front office and staff extremely friendly and effective. The rv spots are gravel and dirt so there's a bit of mud. The sewer receptacle in the campsite is defective, your hose cannot connect and needs repair. You can hear Highway traffic, but it's not too bad, the park itself is quiet. Sites are relatively level. I would recommend for an overnight stop :)
