You'll love to star gaze in the dark skies Gila Bend has to offer. A great place to stay for the night, or more~Recently retiring from the Entertainment Industry in Los Angeles, Scott Swanson is also a 3rd generation campground owner that recently purchased this Gila Bend property and has converted it into the KOA system as the Gila Bend KOA-Journey. Winston is his pooch that oversees their 4000 sq. ft. Kamp K9 and doggie walk areas throughout the 40 acres of land. Expect lots of changes in the upcoming year including a 1500 sq. ft. restroom/shower facility, heated swimming pool, outdoor 2500sqft Veranda, and lots of planned winter activities. Enjoy thousands of acres of ATV and hiking trails in the surrounding area. We hope you enjoy your stay at the Gila Bend KOA whether it's for a day, a month, or the snowbird season!
