We stopped here for 1 night and loved it. It was a hidden gem for sure. The campground was very well maintained and staff were all friendly. Our kids loved it here, especially the jump pad. The pool looked beautiful but unfortunately we did not have time to check it out. We will definitely be back in August!

Absolutely perfect. Totally recommend that you stay here! We are cross country RV travelers. So we see a lot of different campgrounds. The facilities are clean and well maintained! The staff is professional with a great heart! They even offered jumper cables- I left my Jeep lights on! So stay and enjoy!

The campground and staff were absolutely amazing. Very clean, lots of activities and very clean. Besides the Lake and a couple parks, there isn’t a ton of tourist stuff to do right in Gaylord, but we enjoyed our time there. Campground was great!

This was the second time we visited Gaylord KOA this summer, the first being about a month ago. However, this stay was less than enjoyable due to campers cutting through our lot, other noisy crowds of campers partying loudly, and being awoken during the night by a screaming child in the midst of what I assume was a temper tantrum Quite disturbing….

The kids had great fun. The mini golf course was fun but in desperate need of attention. The staff were all very nice and helpful!

It was a enjoyable stay right up till the people walking their dogs let them crap around the camping area and not pick it up.

I thought it was great! I stayed in a cabin! It wasn't entirely warm outside so it wasn't an issue - but if it would have been that cabin would have been unbearable. I recommend A/C for all Cabins. That is my only recommendation. You guys are great! Thank you!

Never camped before when we had so many adults and kids walk through our site and between front of camper and truck.Got very confusing looks when ask them not to.

KOA is getting to expensive to stay there. First it started with down sizing a family from 2 adult 2 kids to just two adults. Also lots of people cutting through our lot. I tried to stop it but seems like people just don't care and the kids don't eather. Other than that our stay was ok.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The campground amenities, sites and location were excellent. The wifi and cable were very good and appreciated. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Beautiful campground with really friendly staff. Really nicely shaded and lots of pull through lots. The pool is really nice too. I really liked how secluded the campground was from any major rds but not far from town. I'd definitely consider camping here again.

We had a dead tree branch fall on our camper, staff brought ladder and removed debris. (No damage). Very friendly staff, clean campground. The only thing I wouldn’t continue would be to allow non campers to come and use pool for the day. 3 carloads of people who didn’t speak English came and took over pool. My family left as it was overflowing with loud people. Pool should only be for camper

Beautiful and well maintained campground. Staff was excellent. The only complaint was our campsite. There was an electric junction box on our site that took up about 70 Sq ft of space not allowing us to erect our 2nd pop up canopy which we needed for shade. The website boasts beautiful shade trees everywhere, just not on site 72. Would stay again but will pay the extra $ to pick a specific site.

My family loved the cabin we stayed in. It was big enough to hold my family and two dogs. Every staff we talked to was friendly, and the amenities was great. We can’t wait to come back for another stay!

We had a great time! Lots of things to do for the kids and adults. The only change I would recommend is move the basket ball hoop back near the campsites so the kids don't have to be outside the park to play, where traffic is coming and going.

We stayed in the newly opened delux cabin. Everything was beautiful, clean and the staff were very helpful. This KOA is special because of the number of private sites and lots of trees to enjoy the beauty.

With the change in ownership we are beyond thrilled with this KOA now. Improvements, friendliness of staff, options provided would vastly improved. Will definitely be back and make a regular stop.

This is a hidden gem of a KOA and was exactly a perfect nights stay prior to our finished leg of our trip to the UP. We were there on the 3rd of July and we all know how loud that can get. The park was pretty quiet after 10pm minus the local fireworks. We stayed in a regular camping cabin and it was perfect for our stay and would stay again!

This is a great location for golfing in northern Michigan. There is plenty of room for our 45ft 5th wheel & HDT hauler. Our site was large & we were traveling with 4 other RVers with HDTs. Management was welcoming and helpful. Took us directly to our site & made sure we had everything we needed. The park is clean & plenty of things to do. Only down side is gravel roads w/ lots of dust.
