Great campground, quiet but still close enough to town. Could use 1 or 2 more pet stations for doggie doo. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Reserved a site for one night as we were passing thru. Was very accommodating for our size as we would need to pullout the next day. The staff was very friendly and had an escort to our site. Would definitely stop again and spend a night or more.

Enjoyed our fall stay. We had a issue arise after hours, called the after hours number and Mike had the issue resolved within minutes! Great service!

Bref séjour d’une nuit seulement car nous étions en transit vers une autre destination. Douches très propres, endroit tranquille que j’ai bien aimé surtout à cause des beaux arbres et la propreté, les sites éloignés, etc.

Friendly staff. Clean shower/restroom facilities. Level sites with mature trees. A peaceful way to enjoy fall in Northern Michigan. Thank you, Tracy, for assisting with our reservation for the perfect spot!

We arrived late and left early, so we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy all of the amenities, but the location was excellent and the restrooms were immaculate. We were able to find the campground with ease, and our information was ready for us when we arrived. The cabin was clean and well-maintained, and the campground was safe and clean.

Overalll I was pleased with our stay at the Gaylord KOA, the staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. I would recommend people stay there when they are in the area.

I love this place for my grandkids. So much for them to do. Tracy is awesome Randy is great they are so helpful. New owners are great. Very family friendly. We can't wait for next season we will definitely be going back a couple times every year. Thank you to the staff for always making us feel welcome. Your doing an amazing job

Awesome time! We were able to participate in the last weekend of Halloweekend at the KOA. So much fun seeing the kids and "BIG" kids dress up and go trick or treating around the park. Awesome staff too! Very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

This is absolutely our favorite place to stay. The new owners are AMAZING! They have made great improvements and are genuinely so nice and willing to help with anything. We come two weekends a year (the first and last they are open) and will continue to do so! Can't wait to come back!

Staff was friendly and amazing! The cabin we rented was ALMOST perfect. The futon mattresses are worthless. They separate when 2 people sleep on the bed, and they aren't comfortable to begin with. Fixing that would have made it the perfect overnight stay.

Friendly personnel. Nice wooded lot with full hookup, especially the cable connection. It came in handy with the one cold rainy day. Because of the rainy weather we did not participate in any of the amenities. After all it is October in northern Michigan.

Great campground to make our home base as we go elk viewing in the Pigeon River Country. Quiet fall camping. Clean restrooms and showers. Very friendly staff.

We used the Campground as our base camp to do daily road trips across Northern Michigan. We also appreciate the clean restrooms as well as the fun holiday decorations.

It was a quiet KOA with the best shower. A rainhead was welcome and a separate area to blow dry hair with lots of hooks for shower bag and towel. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The driveway needs to be smoothed out and some gravel put down. Our RV and truck were caked in mud and we needed to get both of them washed after we left. The keypad when you enter is too low. Most people are entering with a truck or class A and it's almost impossible to get out of the truck to access the keypad. The staff was friendly and helpful, hookups , WiFi and bathrooms all good.

Interior roads are terrible. Some are muddy and filled with holes and ruts, other areas are dusty. My particular site was half rocks half sand, dirty and soft. Good thing it didn’t rain or I would have been in a mud pit.

Store was always closed, the 4 times I walked up there on different days there was a sign saying out doing improvements to improve our campground. Only saw them driving around in golf carts grinding stumps and dragging the drive way.

The owners are doing amazing updates to the campground. Great management staff. Met Chris this past weekend and what an amazing person. This is the best campground we have been too in a long time. Would recommend to everyone to give it a try. Once we went in July for the first time only place we will stay now.
