Very nice, clean and fun KOA! We had a late check in and the instructions left for us in the late check-ins after hours were very helpful and self explanatory. The staff was friendly and very welcoming! Enjoyed the live bands!! Will definitely come back to stay, without doubt.

Quick, efficient, and friendly check in. The staff were all friendly and helpful any time there was an interaction. The camp was clean and well maintained. One of the best sites we have stayed at. I will definitely be coming back

We loved our stay here! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Amenities were awesome and clean and the sites are spacious and well kept. We can't wait to find another weekend to get away and stay at the Galveston Island KOA.

For the Bingo, you need to let people know in advance that it is cash only. A bunch of us could not play due to there was no time to go back to the rv and get cash. It was not as relaxing this time. The staff seem up tight and not as friendly.

The campground it's self is nice, however the manager Deborah there is horrible.. no customer service skills, the place is not kid friendly at all. Deborah is more worried about making sure everyone has a wristband than assisting with customer issues. She stands around looking for anything to nit pick about so she can find an excuse to have you thrown out. We usually like KOA's but not this one.

The reason for me rating only 4 stars is as follows: The internet signal was horrible. I was directly across from one of the transmitters but still a very low signal strength. My grandson was also very disappointed that the lights were not working on the basketball and pickle ball courts. We were told that there was a problem with the timers.

came out for my Daughters Birthday, Staff was super Friendly, very Clean Park. We will be coming back; we did not use any of the amenities this time due to the Holiday weekend and how crowded everything was. really enjoyed the text updates.

The grounds were so clean and in excellent condition. The staff were friendly, informative and helpful. We absolutely loved floating the river float and the pool! We have already recommended this KOA to several of our friends!

Deborah and Terry are the best in true customer service and care. They go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience in Galveston TX. I highly recommend this KOA for any future visits

This is a very clean, well-kept RV park. The pool and the lazy river are great. They have a dog park for your favorite canines and they have a children’s park. Since I don’t have either dogs or children, I can’t really tell you anything specific about them but I have seen children playing in the children’s park and they seem to be having great fun.

We stayed at this KOA late in August. Occupancy was at off-season levels, maybe 15% occupied. We got a site that was wide open with nobody around, quiet and peaceful. Park curb appeal was typical of a coastal area, some shrubbery, grass and a few palm trees. Site 308. Friendly, helpful staff. Several park amenities, all in good condition, Dog Review - 5 Paws rating.

Campgrounds were excellent, amenities were excellent., but don't understand why were placed on a site as far away a possible from the amenities, also next to the main entrance (traffic) and next to the main road (traffic) and the only site on the grounds that did not have a cooking grill.

The park is very well maintained. The pools are nice and the dog park is much appreciated.

We love your KOA - however - we came as a group with a “wagon master” and there was a lot of confusion on that end in the office. Will definitely be back but just not under a “group”. We will be making our own individual reservations.

The grounds were beautiful, clean, and spacious. Employees were kind and helpful. The amenities were great. We absolutely loved the lazy River and the on-site margaritas were delicious!

The activities listed online did not match the activities at the park. Specifically, there was no live music and no trivia game. These were both listed in the online calendar. I did get a text message about popcorn but didn’t realize there was a charge for this. It wasn’t made clear at the beginning. All of the employees are very hard workers and they are constantly busy

Bad news all around First, electrical problems with the pedestal. KOA said it was not their problem. Called in an independent electrical company that confirmed a bad breaker in the pedestal. KOA then changed the breaker. We bought items at the store clearly marked down and identifying the product on the sales tag. but were charged full price after checkout. Management has ignored a refund request.

The Galveston KOA is a wonderful place to stay. It has great amenities, well maintained,and very friendly staff. I highly recommend staying here.

Stayed in Galveston. Location was good, very peaceful. Enjoyed the pool and lazy river. Beach was just a short walk away. Had a pawpen, which was handy when setting up/breaking down the campsite and when cooking outside and waste bags were provided. All of the employees were very nice and friendly. The store had a good selection of items, even some RV accessories. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very nice and courteous. I could see people keeping the place clean and orderly. I enjoyed my visit. The only issue I has was the weak WiFi speed.

Overall, it is a clean park, nice level sites and plenty of amenities. We were greatly disappointed that the pool was closed most of Friday because it needed to be treated. The only option for water was the lazy river for every guest in the park. The pool should have been taken care of before a summer weekend. We will be back and hope not to have this issue again.

I can't say enough good things about this property. This place is clean and the staff work hard to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There's always an opportunity to enjoy the many offerings that will keep you entertained. Actually, there's too much to list. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

I don't often stay at KOA campgrounds due to the price, but this one was very reasonably priced. The grounds are immaculate. The store has everything you might need and the staff are pleasant. The pool, jacuzzi and lazy river were delightful. Showers were very nice. Easy walk to the beach. I had a wonderful time here!
