The staff was very friendly and hospitable, the grounds were so clean and beautiful with lots of activities for their guests, I also enjoyed the onsite drinks and other items for purchase at the office, I will be returning for longer stays!

Everything was great. The only issue I had was the WIFI was unusable. At least at our site. Everything else was awesome!

Very disappointed in the WIFI. They tell you when you check in that the WIFI is not great, they also tell you that its good enough to check email and that isn't true, it isn't even good enough to check emails. The rest of the amenities are good but not having proper WIFI and charging what they charge for a spot that has another camper less than ten feet on either side of you is unacceptable.

This is our 2nd time to visit the Galveston Island KOA, and it did not disappoint. We travel over 1,000 miles (one way) to vacation here and we want a good, safe, clean area for our family to stay. This is a great area to visit and the KOA Park just makes it better. We will visit again and would recommend this KOA to anyone looking to visit the Galveston, TX area.

The Parrk is clean and nice. They advertise a heated pool and lazy river which is heated to 80 degrees but is about 5 degrees too cool to be enjoyed. We took 5 grandchildren to the park for Spring Break and none of the children in the park could enjoy the pool and lazy river for more than a few minutes before having to get out chilled. Upon request to warm them up some I was refused.

We love camping at Galveston KOA! Sites are concrete and level and the grounds around each site have green grass, mowed and edged. Very neat and clean KOA. People who work there go out of their way to make sure everyone is happy and busy with activities!!

It’s a great KOA! Staff was very friendly. The whole facility is kept very clean, mowed, trimmed, etc. Lots of daily activities IF you want to participate. The Lazy River is the best! The only recommendations I would make are a bathroom in the pool area and an inside recreation area. The pavilion was great but on the cool and/or windy days, there was no protection during events.

The campground was clean, needed more activities for the kids, we did tie dye shirts and they didn’t have sizes for the kids, ran out of colors, my kids had to soak up leftover color from the tables to finish their shirts which were already too big for them. Our water in the cabin wasn’t working when we first checked in and the lady who answered the phone was a little rude, not welcoming.

Great facilities. Very well kept We were there during spring break. A lot of activities Oscar Meyer wienermoble , hot dogs, local vendors. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our Stat very much. The campground and sites were very clean and maintained. The staff couldn't have done more for us. We definitely will be back.

Could have more bathrooms but mainly the WiFi is horrible, very frustrating. Need a major upgrade. Campsites are really nice and the staff courteous

You have priced us out of staying with you any more. $800 pre month during the Texas Winter is TOO HIGH! We are on a fixed income and our monties are NOT INCREASING!!! It is a shame that we have to make a decision to draw a Line in the Sand at $600. A lot of the other monthly campers were NOT AWARE that the monthly rate CHANGES EACH MONTH!! So they are also looking for less expensive places.

A reservationist said we could sleep in our Dodge Caravan and use your electricity. We did this and plugged in a ROPE LIGHT. I was told KOA doesn't allow sleeping in CARS but our VAN is okay. The next morning we got a snippy text from "Karen" saying sleeping in a van isn't allowed and neither is charging. We weren't charging a vehicle. We've stayed in lots of KOAs. We won't return to THIS KOA.

Beautiful facility with lots of attention to details. Clean, in good repair, enough staff to keep it up. It’s not tired looking or feeling. Your staff is great! Very friendly and very helpful - they were great in searching for a spots as we needed to extend our stay. Love that you have a Pickleball court and a lazy river , along with the pool and hot tub. Your amenities were the deciding factor

The manager, Robin was very rude and I believe overcharged us all specific items. The bathrooms and showers were very clean, but we as a family have always used KOA for camping especially the location off of Lake Conroe and we’ve never experienced any issues with staff or our visit.we will not be returning to this location. In fact, we research Galveston State State Park and will be using them.

We were here for two months. The weather was not always great but the park is very nice and the staff is outstanding. Lots of planned actives and we like the Lazy River. Going back next year

Enjoyed everything. One suggestion: get a free good wifi service. Your basic one doesn’t make sense in 2024.

We wish you had at least 1 scheduled garbage pickup at the site each day. It is done at most of the KOA’s we stay at The internet program is pretty slow as well but those are the only things on our wish list for your camp

We loved the clean facility and friendly staff. Very nice laundry area and shower/bathroom facilities. Excellent communication on the activities scheduled and any maintenance updates. We were not disappointed on anything. It’s now are home away from home.

It is very nice and clean, but it was far from town and there was no food on site. The pool was not warm, because heater was broke. it would be nice to bring in food trucks at different times of your stay or have barbecues I do think KOA are great camping facilities.

I can't say enough good things about this property. This place is clean and the staff work hard to make sure that you enjoy your stay. There's always an opportunity to enjoy the many offerings that will keep you entertained. Actually, there's too much to list. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

This is one of the best campgrounds we have ever been to. If you like campgrounds that have a lot of organized things to do in a stunning location at a great winter rate, this is your place. First, the location is perfect with the easily accessible ocean and awesome ocean front properties to look at or take a walk by. Both are just across the road. A perfect blend of nature with restaurants and stores 10 minutes away. The campgrounds and road are quiet. Grassy plains pretty much surround the campgrounds. Each campsite is pretty big with well maintained grass and palm trees. For activities, we saw musicians, organized bingo and card games, Easter egg hunt, craft fairs, weekend nighttime movies, a talk on how to best vacation in Alaska, and on and on. 2 to 4 activities every day that don't interfere if you don't want to participate. There is a great playground for kids. A lazy river and a pool. They are very dog friendly. An amazing and memorable place to vacation that is incredibly well managed. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend it!

I don't often stay at KOA campgrounds due to the price, but this one was very reasonably priced. The grounds are immaculate. The store has everything you might need and the staff are pleasant. The pool, jacuzzi and lazy river were delightful. Showers were very nice. Easy walk to the beach. I had a wonderful time here!
