The staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. The grounds were very nice as well. The bathrooms left a bit to be desired, but not the worst we have ever seen. Our neighbor WAS the worst. Her cursing and screaming were our alarm clock each morning and this appeared to be...normal. Overall, we did enjoy our stay and will likely find ourselves here again (hopefully with a different neighbor).

We arrived late and got a cute little baggie with our name on it containing a map of the campsite. We had no problems, and got to pet the horses in the morning.

It all started when we booked on the phone. We were told about the charge per tent but not the extra per person. Also they should let us know that there is a sand pit next to us in operation at 6 am.... and to top it of, our campsite was on a path for 4weelers to come out of the wood. On our last morning, à 4weeler drove right across our lot, not impressive. It was someone from KOA. Very bad

Easy checkin, nice big tent site, good communication about campground and site. We somehow didn't notice the hours for the camp store, though, and missed out on a chance to buy firewood. By biggest criticism is the constant beeping of the front-end loader in the sand pit directly behind site T4. It started at 6:30am! We weren't there much during the day, thankfully, but it was annoying.

Bathrooms are so clean, the pool has brand new chairs and loungers and an awesome water slide. We had a great time. Plus all of the activities were great, wood fire pizza on Friday nights and a fun train ride for the kids.

A little disappointing when the website literally shows a giant inflatable slide and all the activities… fresh pizza, s’mores… but when we arrived on Saturday they said the pizza is only available on Fridays and the slide must of been for a special event. The normal slide at the pool was cautioned off and broken too. There wasn’t a picnic table at our campsite.

Loved our site 5T however there was a camper beyond our site in an unmarked spot that seemed a little odd .. he was up during the night making noise playing music at 330am.. we were there 3 nights and most people nod say hello, not this one, a little eerie! Other than that nice bathroom/ showers and the spot was awesome!

I was not there long but had a great tenting spot in the tall trees. Very pleasant. The washroom was nearby and excellent. New and very clean. The one staff person I talked to was very helpful and pleasant to talk to.

i could not believe how friendly and helpful the staff were. They went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. The place was very clean and there were plenty of activities. I will be back !

I had such a great experience staying at the Freeport KOA while I waited for my apartment lease to start! Bob (owner) is such a helpful, friendly person. He even let me set up my tent under the pavilion during a particularly rainy 24 hrs. I was VERY grateful to stay dry that night. :D Everyone who works at this KOA was so sweet and welcoming. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Nice, clean tent spot for us among the RV community. Bathroom is very clean, it doesn't smell like a public toilet at all. Staff are friendly, courteous and very accommodating. Our stay was comfortable and relaxing.

I checked in late and the late check in package was great. I’m a tent camper and the bathroom was probably the best I’ve ever used at a campground. I want to come back and try out one of the dome cabins, they look awesome!

Great locale. Very clean. Good weekend activities. Nice staff. Great pizza. A little too.loud late at night sometimes. Some campers like to scream.

Everything about the campsite and the people there was awesome, bath house was clean and well maintained, site was good. Big drawback was quiet hours, reading reviews for this place we were excited about how quiet it would be, yet every night we had radios and big parties and drunk campers. Spoiled the weekend for us more than the rain. At multiple points we didn't feel safe next to our neighbors.

A very nice campground with friendly and accommodating staff. Our site was a back-in and very roomy. Lots of grass and the trail around the park is lovely. We will definitely stay again as we weren't able to see as much as we wanted around the area due to an ill pet.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in one of the smaller cabins. The showers and bathrooms were always clean and in great function. Located in a quiet wooded area, which was wonderful! Still close enough to town for a great shopping and eating experience. There were a lot of activities throughout the week for those who wanted to participate. Wonderful stay! We love Maine, so we will probably stay here again! Price was great! I have chickens back home in Ohio, so seeing chickens on the property made me miss mine a little less. Thank you!
