We had one of your gorgeous new patio sites and it was wonderful! My Dad passed away almost two weeks ago and the ease of the new site was most welcome. Your staff was phenomenal and we had a relaxing and rejuvenating time. The band Saturday night was terrific and we relaxed on our patio and listened to the music. The small hiccup of losing power was quickly resolved by your owner Bob!

This was our second time staying at Freeport/Durham KOA. There is always something to do there. From walking trails and visiting the horses and of course Mr ‘D’ the donkey. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the wrong time of the year. The Brown Tail Caterpillars were everywhere. My son in law got a bad rash on his neck and my granddaughter got a rash as well. Also the bathrooms we used were not very clean and there was black mold growing in one of the shower stalls and there was missing toilet paper and hand soap.

Friendly. On time activities and entertainment. Stuck to quiet hours. Clean bathrooms. If there was one thing I would improve, I would keep the dumpster tops closed �. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The site was large, wooded and shaded. Lots of kids activities for free. My kid loved the playground. Very dog friendly. Bathrooms were clean and had nice hot water. My ONLY complaint which has nothing to do with the campground really was the HUGE amount of Browntail moth caterpillars which cause and awful itchy rash. I could not enjoy the outside because they crawled all over me every time I sat

One of nice KOA in Maine that we been to. Owners were very friendly. Even when the campground lost power. They took the time to answer questions and keep the ice cream from melting. See ya in May 2024.

We stayed 4 nights in a two room cabin. It was Pete t for our needs. Camp staff and owner were very friendly and accommodating. We loved it.

We enjoyed our stay. The rest room was clean and had hot water! The site was wonderful. Not to small or too big. Nicely wooded and quiet area. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sites are large and level. Facilities are a little worn but it looks like they are being refurbished. Good playground. A little disappointed that advertised food was not available due to early season.

We were first parked in a mud hole then got moved by our friends per our request and that was beside a main septic system that smelled horrible the whole time. They obviously had worked on it because it was all dug out. The pool was under construction or repair. It wasn’t open at this time of year, of course but I feel like these things should be noted on the website. Poor hospitality keep looki

When we arrived the office was not open. The nice gentleman did come over and say they were not open yet for the season, which according to the website they should have been. It may be a nice place to stay in the summer when they are open but we did not get the usual top notch service we usually do with KOA's. Again it might be different if they were open and ready for business.

If I could give zero stars I would. We planned to stay at this KOA because we stayed there last year and were familiar with it. When we arrived we were directed us to our spot. The pull through was a muddy mess that smelled of sewage. The bathrooms/showers were boarded up this campground did not even appear to be open! Yet, they had NO trouble charging my credit card! No one in office

This was the worst KOA stay ever. No bathrooms or showers were open in the entire campground. There was also no wifi available. If the campground facilities were not fully open yet, they should not have been renting sites with false information advertised.

Bob and Christine are great people and great hosts. Every day Bob is out checking out the campground early in the morning. I would recommend this campground to anyone.

The price quoted over the phone was not honored, i was charged a lot more at check in, then Bob was rude about it when confronted and completely blew me off, also the gravel pit next door is distracting from peaceful times

past seasonal camper I will not return next year I met great friends there and the staff is great… but that being sad the owners are a different story , I had to fix the power pole myself after asking for 3 years when I told him I did he said about f…time all the seasonal campers have to clean their site just to move in, prices gone up the last 3 years and lost 4 weeks of camping I could go o

The staff and owner were exceptional! It had a lot of really cool decorations and park features that was in keeping of the area. Large Level sites too! Beautiful paver patio and fire pit. Immaculately kept. Camp store had a lot to offer and the cashier was very helpful, friendly and a joy to be around with her Southern accent in the North East. So hand to be able to fill up our Propane.

Upon checking in the staff was rude to a coworker and unwelcoming to a customer checking. The laundry facility was not available our entire stay. The office was often closed. When the power went out, nobody was answering the phone. A message on the answering machine stating the power status would have been helpful.

We enjoyed a nice shady spot towards the wooded area. The facilities were clean, however the doors would not close and with cool weather it was a bit cool. There is a nice short nature trail to walk with the nice wooded area.

A very nice campground with friendly and accommodating staff. Our site was a back-in and very roomy. Lots of grass and the trail around the park is lovely. We will definitely stay again as we weren't able to see as much as we wanted around the area due to an ill pet.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in one of the smaller cabins. The showers and bathrooms were always clean and in great function. Located in a quiet wooded area, which was wonderful! Still close enough to town for a great shopping and eating experience. There were a lot of activities throughout the week for those who wanted to participate. Wonderful stay! We love Maine, so we will probably stay here again! Price was great! I have chickens back home in Ohio, so seeing chickens on the property made me miss mine a little less. Thank you!
