Cleanest bathrooms and showers you’ll find anywhere. Paved roadway throughout the camp; graveled pads - near level. Friendly staff.

Probably the best KOA we have stayed. Shady, quite, sites are good size, not jammed together. Staff friendly, helpful. I highly recommend this KOA.

We were only here for an overnight, same as last time. Given a great site, camp staff very friendly and were even able to pick up a few duture gifts for the grand kids at the store.

Very tight for 40'rig. Much further off interstate through heavy traffic than desired. Off of Hwy 1 are very narrow roads. Staff nice. Park well maintained.

We stayed a week in a motorhome. Park was well kept and located near grocery stores and trains to DC. Only complaint was cable did not work. They did have high speed internet and allowed streaming. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Site was slightly unlevel. Had to use additional leveling blocks as the auto leveler could not fully level without them. Otherwise great KOA. Will stay here in the future when visiting my grandkids.

This was a quick turn around but the facilities were clean, the staff was friendly, and the campground was beautiful. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We've stayed here a couple of times and we love it. Staff is friendly, facilities are clean. It doesn't feel too crowded, and it's not too buggy. We'll stay here again!

We have four children, two live in NC and two in PA, so this KOA was right in the middle between NC and PA. Met in the middle to Make Memories! Great stay and I can recommend this KOA, staff was friendly, and they kept this camp clean and it was quiet, a total enjoyable four days. Thanks and we may see you again next year. Five Star camping experience.

After a looong drive from vt we wanted to sit relax and watch tv. Tv was so snowy we couldnt see anything. I called. They sent someone to the site. He said nothing he could do. It was working fine. It was awful

Tips for future campers: Coax cables sometimes fail, our store has all the cable supplies you may need. When cable is tested at a pedestal with clear pictures, booster switches or RV connections can cause issues. Happy Camping!

Beautiful campground but lots of dog waste everywhere. This campground charges per pet but nothing is being done to clean up after pets and irresponsible dog owners.

Dirt and more dirt. Sites were packed close together. Store was empty. Thankfully we were staying for just one night. Not at all worth the price.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Guest has reviewed the wrong campground. Fredericksburg has newly paved roads, no dirt here, sites are nicely graveled. Deluxe patio sites also available. Our camp store is stocked floor to ceiling with camping items as well as gifts and apparel, snacks, beer and Virginia wine. Happy Camping!

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
