Team members were very pleasant. Check in was easy. Escort to the site. Would recommend letting everyone checking in know that generators are not to be used in the quiet time. We were woken two nights in a row by the neighbor starting their generator. All amenities were just ok. Laundry room wasn’t very good and price was high. We would return. About 1.5 hours from DC. Have fun �Ϝ

This was our 2nd stay this year, we had a wonderful time. Park and sites are well maintained and staff is very accommodating on all levels.

This is a lovely and quiet park with some great parking sites on the right side of the campground. Very clean and family friendly. We found the roads to the left of the campground to be very narrow and not sufficient turning space. Our campsite did not have enough room to park our truck. We noticed other RVs having the same issues with space and making turns. Double check site length.

Tip for Future Campers: If you need more room, we've got it. Some rigs just don't fit in 30amp sites, select a 50 amp or deluxe patio site with ample room to camp. Lock in your favorite site for just $10 at booking! Happy Camping!

Only stayed one night but this is a nice clean campground with good WiFi. A bit off the main roads but not too bad except for the narrow 2.5 mile access road.

Just a quick one night stay on our way home from south carolina. We will definitely return here as it is almost perfect half way spot to our house. Easy check in. Large site, and friendly staff. Kids used the playground to unwind before bed. Overall a good stay.

Our stay was amazing and the staff was very helpful especially Steph!!! She was so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that we had whatever we needed. We will definitely stay here again.

liked the park, very clean and friendly. The not being able to use our golf cart was the only drawback. We are a 72 year old couple that use our golfcart to get around the campground; this time we were camping with our son/family that included a 2 yr old and a 1 month old....it was inconvenient to get everybody and everything needed to the pool, etc. w/o the use of a golf cart....

It was the quiet relaxing getaway that I needed. Additionally, this was an experimental trip for me. I purchased a new travel trailer and needed to practice hooking up to shore power and water. I wish I had selected a site with a dump station, but I will know better in the future. Thanks

I only stayed a night while on my way home . This location was extremely helpful and accommodating for a medical issue my wife had and we had to delay our resovation. The staff was very understanding and took one less worry away from all the craziness going on. The camp ground was very clean and very easy to maneuver even with a 42 foot 5th wheel . Staff was friendly and accommodating as we could not arrive on our original day due to weather conditions. Since we had already paid we were allowed to arrive at any time the next morning - even before they opened. Once there we had a good time. We did point out a dead tree on our site, #31, which was noted by staff. This needs to be taken down before causing damage.

Our site,109, was nice shady back in. But the gravel drive needs to be cleaned of grass. Hard to tell exactly where to park. Staff were all friendly especially Lori at check in. Someone was always doing yard work and the grounds are nice. Bath house was very clean. Pool was nice and umbrellas and chairs were in good condition. Will stay here again.

Staff nice! Nice campground. Pool didn't look swimmable. Cloudy green. No one in it. Big complaint was trailer next to ours. They also had 2 large towable trailers, huge metal tool cart and other work equipment. On Sat. all day we heard nothing but sawing, drilling, hammering, etc..they were installing wood and racks in one trailer. Not what we wanted to hear or expect from a campground on vaca!!!

We LOVE the Fredericksburg KOA! The campground is clean, quiet and relaxing. Plus, all staff members are friendly and extremely helpful.

After patiently waiting to check in I was ambushed by Stephanie the manager about my rating I gave them last year! Yes Steph, the pool still looks green and dirty. Will never come back to this place. Rude manager. The guy who escorted us to the site was no barrel of monkeys either. Toxic atmosphere at this KOA.

The park was quiet, clean, and in a great location. The park staff was super friendly. We stayed in site 100. It was level and had a great view of the lake.

The Parker was distracted and on his phone. He gave us no direction at all. We had to reposition our trailer. The spot was was on a mound and when you went out your door if you weren’t careful you would fall off the pad. The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Would most likely not return to this KOA. Not up to the standards we have received in the past from KOA

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
