Later arrival and staff was excellent in helping us back into site and advising on equipment issues. Park was very clean. Sites were level making set-up very easy.

The narrow road to get to the park was a bit intimidating but as long as we took our time, it worked out okay. The park is tranquil and we had a spot right by the pond. Our pug also loved it there. We enjoyed the patio and glider on our site. Nice laundry facility as well.

We enjoyed our stay! The whole experience was great! We would definitely stay here again. The campground was clean, the camp employees were friendly, easy in and out.

Site was under water when we arrived. Very muddy. Cable was nonexistent. Could not get any channels on the tv or even over the air.

friendly, helpful staff, clean and quiet. will be back. Please know that many KOAs have decl8ned as the owners have not kept up the maintenance nor update the structures. So we avoid KOAs unless we know them . yours is a prime example of what KOAs should be Joe VN

made reservation on feb.21 for 1 night all paid for,ck in at 1:30..took me to site 81 sloped downwoud all gravel ,dirt,& coverd in these sharp prickley burs from tree.looks like thev were there a while.had to go to office to have them clean site so i could take my dog out.worst site in 2years camping full time at least the maintenance was nice

We stayed 3 nights in our motorhome. The campsite, bathrooms and showers were very clean and nice. Slate and Susie the KOA staff were super kind and helpful!!

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The sites were a bit close and unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there. A lot of water pooled up next to our RV and the mud was an issue.

Your campground is well kept, has good sized sites, and the staff are friendly. It’s nice to have an escort to your site as well.

This is a wonderful campground. A great setting with a nice pond. Lots of birds around. Very nice bathhouse. Staff very friendly and there is a wonderful store, with local gifts. Will definitely stay here again

Very narrow roads off I-95 to KOA. Hard to back-in large travel trailers after dark. 11am check-out is too early!

Beautiful campground, clean facilities, well kept environment. Only stayed one evening as we were passing through on our way to the Outer Banks for vacation. The family wished we would have stayed a couple of days at this campground! Staff were courteous and helpful. The road to the campground is narrow, so if you're a larger motorhome/5th wheel/travel trailer, take your time - well worth it!

First time we ever stayed at a KOA. Park was very clean. New landscaping was getting done. Campground is nicely wooded. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at site 82. Great campground, very clean and well organized. I would recommend cutting down the dead trees on the other side of the road from site 82 just to make sure they don’t fall onto someone in a camper one night. We really enjoyed it and we will return in the future. Great place to stay.

Very lovely campground.. sites could be improved.. level them off and pour some concrete.. the gals in the office and who I spoke to on the phone were outstanding!!!

Sites are very much out of level. Asked for a level site for one night, I was told there was only one site left . It was literally a same incline from front to back. Very disappointing. Then I pulled out early and saw several sites empty that were much nicer and much more level.

We've stopped there 4 times up & back on way to Myrtle Beach. It's been good until Wednesday 4/3 only 1 night. It was raining and had been raining. We got the wettest spot.. The park wasn't 100% full so maybe we could have gotten a little dryer pull through for just the one night. Might try another spot next time through. Otherwise,met several friendly. pet owner campers which was very nice.

Everything was nice and clean and the staff was very nice, the only thing not too pleased with was that they had the Easter egg hunt, and there was no candy in the Easter eggs for the kids, other than that, very clean and friendly staff!

We were just passing through on our way back to Pittsburgh after snowbirding in Florida for 2 months and found the campground quiet, comfortable, and relaxing. The campground was neat, tidy, and offered an area to hike. The staff greeted us with a smile and were very helpful. The site had a patio with a nice table, chairs and a fire pit.

Very nice place - roomy sites, very clean, outstanding staff! There were lots of activities for the kids over Easter weekend. The only downside I saw was that there was a lot of mud and standing water around some of the cabins and sites near the office. Add some drainage, perhaps?

This is a beautiful, nicely designed campground with lots of shaded sites and a small pond. It's kind of far from Fredericksburg but so quiet and pleasant. The camp store is great with lots of unique gifts and souvenirs.

Lovely, wooded , peacefully quiet setting. Great paved roads within park, gravel FHU with 50 amp sites. Immaculately clean spacious bathrooms & showers. Many of each. Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. However, poor signage off Hwy. , extremely confusing direction after exit 118. Hwy. 1 not posted. Roads off Hwy. 1 to park are hairpin blind turns, no shoulders & drop offs. $81 overnight, bit high but close to east coast & our Nations Capital

Ran into truck trouble on 95 on a Thursday before Easter. We needed to find something very quickly and close to a dealership to have the truck fixed. Luck was on our side when we saw a KOA 10 miles from the dealer. I tend to over research before picking where to stay, however, we had no time. I booked a site literally 5 minutes before arriving. The grounds are beautiful, shady and tucked into the woods. Plenty of room to walk and for my son to ride his bike. A great playground which he loved as well. There is also a pond on site which adds to the charm. The general store/office was nicely stocked. They did not have milk or butter but had a couple of grocery items such as eggs and hot dogs. It had rained a lot the night before so the grassy areas were pretty soggy but the staff were actively trying to get any sitting water off the sites and roadways. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and very accommodating. If our travels bring us back to this area, we would definitely book again.

Stayed at this campground many times. Great location. This is the first time they charged extra for pets. Not sure why they need to do this. Maybe they charge extra for kids too. Campground prices are high enough without adding extra charges.
