Great place to stay. Sites are plenty big and have enough space to do what you need to do. It's a clean place and the staff is super friendly. The pool was pretty chilly so not sure it was heated but it was a nice area. Bring your own wood and plenty of food as the closest grocery store is 20 minutes away. Would visit again.

I booked in October 2 sites side by side, when arrived they gave me an excuse about booking. however after 35 minutes of walking around they found 2 sites side by side, then we had no water pressure, the maintenance man had to come because the sewer line was clogged shut at our site and then no wifi as promised and hadn't had it in months as told by permanent campers there. Upsetting!!!!!!

Very nice Campground with spacious sites bathrooms and laundry facilities are very clean, friendly staff, nice Campgrond overall and I will definitely return, easy access for ATV trails. All ATV riders very respectful of Campground rules and many miles of trails to explore, great place

Fort McCoy KOA is the most unorganized KOA I’ve ever stayed in. No one was in the office. Office hours few and far between. Check in was disastrous. No maps. No site was assigned. We paid for pull through , full hook ups, and was told just to park anywhere. No camping store for needed items. No garbage service. Could not even find a dumpster. Zero service. Not a typical KOA. Should not be a KOA.

We love this place! Love that you can pick your rv spot. Love the convenience of being able to access the trails right from the park.

Check in was a little rough, first two sites had campers. Requested a pull through site with 50 amp and does not look like there are any. System would not allow points to be used for my stay!

Great place. Just no hot water in the restrooms at the clubhouse. Limited office hours. Please warn every camper to not take the route coming in from the north with the washboard roadway.

Quiet, until the atvs roll in occasionally … but it is an ATV based theme camp and it is fun to watch them. Everyone is respectful of quiet time and families keep their children safety minded and close to their campsites. Tranquil and meet lots of kindred spirits of the rv genre.

Surprisingly peaceful considering the ATV aspect of this campground. Terribly far from any sort of civilization so if you stay awhile it's a bit miserable if you like store access etc. Overall I had a good time here but was glad to leave for more accessable area. Internet on tmobile 4G/5G was good, the wifi was garbage and almost never worked and I was right next to the office.

Although we had a nice time, this campground has changed a lot from when we first began coming here. Like so many others this KOA has become more of a trailer park with year round residents rather than a weekend campground. Many of the lots are being sold and elderly couples have moved in. This has required the quiet time, atv and overall rules to become more enforced.

Good campground, toughest part was the free for all trying to get a site. Guard just told us the general direction of the 50A full hookups are and said pick a spot. Other than that, nice quiet campground.

We are regulars here because a large group of us go out for Atv trails. We know the rules however it seems as if this park is gearing more towards permanent residents. We get told to be quiet at 8 when the time is 11 we know the rules. BEEN going here for years and this Management gets worse every time. Either your KOA or a 55 and up RV park. Decide!!

Something must be done about the organization of the camp, sites & Check-in process which is disastrous after 4-5pm. No guidance to spot, your if you find it park, just make sure it isn't owned way sucks. No reserved spots, no one knows what power or septic is for theirs (had to remove 3 neighbors from ours), everyone parks all over the empty sites, leaving security guard in a frazzled mess.

Lots are very uneven. I specifically said we needed 50amp for our 35ft RV. They put us in a 30amp! Ants invaded our RV for the whole stay. The grounds were filthy. Never will stay there again. Way too expensive for what you get.

We had an area where someone had a fire with soda cans that were burnt on our site. Ants took over all our campers, so much that my daughter had to sleep in our camper 2 of the 3 nights as she had ants in her bed. The soap dispenser was laying on the bathroom counter in the ladies room. You had to pick it up to squeeze it so that you could was your hands. Way to expensive for quality of park

Wi Fi not working weak signal and Im sure I was charged for it some way, Men's room two toilets not working. Prices have increased $ 20 plus dollars night in two years. Been doing to this campground since late 90/s.

Very nice campground and will definitely be back . Beautiful views of Lake Oklawaha . If I had to have a negative it would be the roads in the campground are very narrow and with permanent sites with fences some site looked difficult to back into with a big Rv . Clean facilities and beautiful views and if you have a 4 wheeler or side by side they have places for you to ride .

My arrival was extremely confusing due to the lack of organization at arrival. Arrived a bit late and the guard was clueless as to where sites were oriented, having hookups at opposite sides on almost every spot made it worst. Since this was a free for all, ended up having to boondocks at the best spot I could find during night and go scout in the morning for a better one.

Very clean place, very friendly staff. The night time security guy was very nice and helpful. Only gripe I have is that the bath house did not have hot water. We took cold showers twice before finding out there was a second bathhouse. Other than that it was great!

The 50 amp RV spaces are in major disrepair. Major washouts, been that way since our stay last year. The spot we chose this year had a serious shock threat while plugging in . They seem mor interested in selling spots and allowing fences to be installed that will hamper backing longer rv’s into spots across the street. Trees hanging low in many areas!

We did not find this to be of KOA Standards. It seems to be a very dated park. At check in we were told to just go pick our spot. We had friends staying in a cabin and wanted to be in a spot close and the young lady didn't even know if the sites behind the cabins were available and they weren't they were private property. We finally had to call the office to have someone help us.

I didn't get to see much of the park as it was so late and so dark by the time wefinally found the entrance. The sign was laying down on the side of the road and was not visible at night. You only want to drive there in daylight because of the roads to get there - very rural! I paid for 2 sites and the 2nd motor home missed the entrance and went down a road that he couldn't turn around on.

It is in the middle of nowhere and the trees drop all kinds of spurs that get stuck in dogs feet. No where safe to walk the dogs. Will never go back. Plus people also living there. Not like a normal KOA

Worst KOA we've ever stayed at in entire country, cold pool, cold shower, lawn hasn't been mowed in a month, streets/roads not wide enough to accommodate any large rv, lot was not level, but only place to stay and ride the narrow un maintained Ocala trail sys

Great if you have an ATV. Back to nature is what this location is all about. Please know that groceries are a LONG way away, Staff is super!

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
