Grounds were beautiful. We arrived late to campsite but guard at gate was a very helpful guiding us to the appropriate area for camping.

Beautiful park, staff were great. Special thanks to the night time security guard, there is absolutely no concern with leaving your camper or vehicle in this park while on the trails. We will definitely return

We visited Fort McCoy KOA during fall, it was quiet, some spaces have nice shadow from the trees and the lake view is very pretty. Many activities to do in the area, however, the camp is a little isolated and the drive for gas/groceries could take 30 to 45 minutes. Be sure to bring an strong ant killer as there are many antpire at the camping spaces, also, no picnic table on all of the spaces.

The people were all great! The access to the ATV trails are awesome! They are adding 50 AMP sites however the sites are very unlevel and difficult for a big Rig to maneuver and sites are not well defined. The club house needs some work and updating as the furniture is old and dilapidated, the bathroom showers leak into the main room (slippery and dangerous) and the pool table is broken.

Ours was only for one night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The only drawback was how far you had to travel to get there. The map was a bit deceptive

We spent $200 per night for a destination trailer, which was quite nice. However, there was no water pressure in the shower or hot water. We had an ant infestation in the pantry, on the couch and in the bathroom. We had to dispose of any food in bags or boxes as the ants had gotten in them. We would like to come again, and would appreciate compensation for our inconvenience and food.

Had a great time as usual while riding on the trails! Campground employees were very helpful and nice like always. Can’t wait for weather to cool off a bit for a return trip!

The bathrooms were impeccably clean, showers were amazingly well taken care of, I have not seen that in other campgrounds. Kudos to the housekeeping staff.

It was a very nice quite place to relax. It was great to find a KOA not next to the highway. The Only problem is the Ants, beautiful trees, but more ants then wanted to deal with. and the trails to the beach could have been better maintained. But if I'm looking for a quite relaxing place I will be back.

I checked in after hours greated by a very nice man, we spoke about the price and registered on an envelope that I filled out. My main concern was the price of which he informed me that it would be a total of $45 for my stay. I was instructed to park on the grass where the older grey hook ups. In the morning I was given a bill for $80 I expect a refund I was called and told to call corporate

The night guard was very nice and helpful. The sites we were offered were overgrown with weeds and unlevel so our rig was half off the ground on one side. Ants got into our camper and it too a bit to get them all out. Make sure you had a sewer donut because the sewer hookup is essentially a pipe in the ground. The pool was good but lots of grass clippings in it. Not bad but not for us.

Absolutely beautiful park. Employees were all wonderful. The pool is very much needed in the summer heat. Access to the forest trails right from the park. Only complaint was the grass was very tall and there was a bazillion ants on everything and everywhere including inside my vehicle that sat all weekend. Not sure if anything can be done about it but very discouraging!

Site was nice and level but electric, water and sewer hookups were over 25' from our class B MH. Weather was bad during our stay. Not the fault of the KOA. We left a day early due to weather. It looked like a nice place but rain kept us from enjoying it.

We lost our power for awhile, but it came back on. It is a beautiful park, but quite out of the way from restaurants and things to do. It has a large pool with lots of longe chairs. There is a lot of wildlife to be seen, and fishing. Bring your kayak, canoe, ATV, and lots of bug spray. There are also a lot of fire ants, so beware. The park is a work in progress.

Another group of Campers gave us issues cuz their kid got accidently hurt by ours cuz she turned around as a ball was being thrown at her. Dad pushed our kid & hurt his arm, then came over drunk & wanting to fight. We called the cops cuz he refused to leave, cops wouldn't do anything. We were told we can't use the bathroom and pool cuz they stayed beside it, no refund & didn't care about our issue

400 characters isn't enough to describe why i'm dissatisfied. Obviously you don't want to hear the problems with this KOA. Long grass, no shade, music kept us up all night, other campers assaulted our son and tried to fight me. The police and security did nothing and told is not to go around their campsite thus stopping us from using the restrooms and pool. I really want my money back. Never again

The site we had was such that I could not level my motorhome. Within hours of setting up the 30 amp breaker faulted, fortunately I had a 50 amp adapter. I had a problem with the water, not sure if it was the pressure or MH problem, The bugs! Ants, mosquito's, ticks, etc. My motorhome became infested with ants. And the heat (Which was not your fault) happen to be unbearable. We left a day early.

It is not a place for peace and quiet. It’s great of you have an ATV or 4wheeler. No easy access to the lake. Hubby bought Florida fishing license to fish there and he couldn’t fish due to having to treck down a dilapidated bluff trail. If you like hearing 4 wheelers and ATVs all day then this is great. I don’t like it nor my husband or two dogs so we left a day early.

The camp staff was very courteous, the campground was clean and pretty quiet. Tons of ants, even crawling on me at night. And every other KOA that I have stayed at in the past has had activities for kids on the weekends. This one only had music by the pool, which my grand son could care less about, and that was it.

Reservations don't include a specific site. We decided on a space near the clubhouse and pool. The site was dry which was good due to all the rain. BUT this KOA welcomes ATV's, dirt bikes etc. who are allowed to drive in between the sites. From morning to night, ATVs and trucks were whizzing on both sides of our camper. It was a free for all. Not bad, but stay far from the clubhouse.

The camp sites could use some upgrades. Every site is not level and could use full or rocks to keep sand in the camper to a minimum. The power and sewer hookups are not near each other making hooking up a pain. Other than those issues everything was nice!

The people working there were super nice and helpful. A few too many misquotes this time of year for me, but I wanted to fish but had just too much going on and has to leave.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
