Disappointed that the kitchen had been removed and the staff did not keep up with issues such as, kids running wild and adults not watching their children. Bathroom not keep clean and they had a major ant problem.

This Koa has a lot of potential if the time and money was put into it- A game room. A cafe. More info when you arrive on the area . Planned activities for the kids. Fix the fishing trails so guests can fish. The place has great views. We will only return based off the fact that it has direct access to the Ocala National Forest trails for ATV’s.

showed up around 630 due to weather issues. Nobody at the gate and nobody answered the phones including “guard on duty”.We did as the sign instructed and went to pick out a spot. The spots are not clearly marked and hadn’t been mowed. We picked a random site and waited till morning to go to the office. They gave us a yellow tag for the window and sent us on our way.Didn’t care what site w

First time we ever visited Fort McCoy. The park was really nice and the workers there were even nicer. I'll definitely stay there again. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay and the clean facilities. I felt safe showering at the bathhouse because of the clean, individual rooms. We liked how spread out the sites were as it gave a more authentic camping/outdoors feeling. I would have liked to have seen a security guard or any personnel patrolling the resort and helping guests hook up. We will be bringing our family back!

Been going here for years, always been a nice get away from everything campground.lately has not been maintained, grass tall,sewer connections all broken. Too many long term campers there. Very run down .

Love this place! We have been coming every weekend for the past month. Almost like our home away from home. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We love that you can access the trail right outside the KOA.

This day was good I only have one complaint is they didn't know around our campsite we had everything picked up so all you had to do is mow around it and move the picnic table which is their picnic table and they didn't do it which caused us to have bugs ants talking about the ants they didn't put nothing out I put stuff out to make her stay more pleasurable don't mind helping but some things shou

Great KOA staff. Nice pool. Beautiful view. The bathrooms are clean. The walking nature trail was not accessible with overgrown foliage and path not maintained. In the tent area, the grass was overgrown as well. The fire pit area was dirty from the last campers and the fire pit itself was rusted through to the bottom with a big hole. Overall, nice stay. Maybe I'd stay in a cabin next time.

It was wonderful and the people that run the place are super nice. The only complaint is at the pool there was a large group of folks that were playing raunchy music and cussing a lot. I had to take my kids and leave. They were drunk and showing out and should have been asked to leave. Their kid pulled the light out of the pool.

We rented a cabin and upon arrival realized it was infested with fleas. Although staff acknowledged the issue there was no solution, had to cancel last night of stay and bunk with fellow camper. I do love the park in general and have stayed in the past, but this past trip really was upsetting. Our family is covered in flea bites.

We really enjoy are stays at Fort McCoy but of the biggest problems is the sewer system. It's so hard sometimes to know some work and some don't.. and if you don't have enough hose to reach some of them...We really like it and I know we will be back several times. We had a great weekend and your staff are great. Thanks.

It was nice but the ants was so bad I even went to the office to see if they could come and spray for them but no one show up so we left Sunday and lost one night that I paid for

Although it had been raining off and on, our site was not mowed and the ants took us over. We stayed once before and it was a great place to stay. I at least would have appreciated it if they would have come by with a weed wacker. sitting by the fire in the evening would have been more pleasant if there wasnt high grass around us.

Tall grass. Very uneven terrain making it hard to level camper as well as dragging parts of camper when pulling in and out of site. Poor setup for sewer drainage. Cloudy pool. Friendly staff but were unable to remedy any issues.

Great place...the amenities was excellent... access to the Ocala National Forrest was perfect... Plenty of activities for the kids, especially the swimming pool... Definitely have plans to return.... Thanks

The people were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the pool was very cloudy, so it wasn’t clear to see the bottom of the pool. The Atv’s were a little on the high side to rent. To far for my grandma to walk to the lake to go fishing, so we had to leave the KOA just to fish. The cabin we had was great. That is a 10. Their cabins were singlewide trailers.

I would come back, but a few things to note. Uneven, washed out areas where you pull into campsites. Low hanging trees on some of the roads. People put fences up around their sites, close to the roads.

Very remote area with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed all the surrounding nature and birds singing. Nice facilities on site... the pool was perfect!

Cabin #32 very clean. The atv trails were great and there are sooo many. The campground was quiet after dark which was nice. All the people were respectful of each other and friendly. The pool was great. Front desk and security guard were very nice. We do wish the office stayed open past 4pm. We booked our next trip when we checked out...lol

Went for birthday wkend. No pool available for Bday due to chemical dump for cleaning. No 2-person ATVs available and no accomodation made. Some of the washers and dryers don't work & one set has no option for coin return to get your money back (heavy rain, soaked all ).There is also no chg mach. Grass was shin-high and itchy (tent camping). Most trails were blocked by fallen trees. Some birthday!

We have stayed at many different KOAs over the years. This is the first one that doesn’t assign camp sites . We were told to just park our motor home where we want. This caused us some problems because another party moved in very close to us invading most of our privacy.Some roads were in very bad shape. We didn’t know about the 4-wheelers meeting to go trail riding. A lot of noises. Lots for

We have been coming to Fort Mccoy KOA for about 3 years now. The location is perfect for many outdoor activities. The new owners have done a nice job at renovating some of the things there. However, the pool area and bath house need some serious attention. We will be back again but hope those areas get the attention theh need before hand.

Bathrooms broken down and trashed at pool area. Ants have taken over the entire park, seriously everywhere. “Nature trail” to the lake was impassable. Zero access to the lake by foot. Hobo trash fires burning abundantly near our spot with trash in our fire pit ready to be lit. After that I gave up and stayed in our camper the whole time. Didn’t even disconnect from the truck.

I loved the campground! The cabin we stayed at was very cute. Unfortunately we stayed in a pet friendly, with our pet, and it was full of fleas. I think they need to rip the carpet out and replace the furniture with something that works better. I would definitely go back, but be better prepared for fighting fleas. I understand it is not the campgrounds fault, but it really bothered my dog.

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
