My arrival was extremely confusing due to the lack of organization at arrival. Arrived a bit late and the guard was clueless as to where sites were oriented, having hookups at opposite sides on almost every spot made it worst. Since this was a free for all, ended up having to boondocks at the best spot I could find during night and go scout in the morning for a better one.

Very clean place, very friendly staff. The night time security guy was very nice and helpful. Only gripe I have is that the bath house did not have hot water. We took cold showers twice before finding out there was a second bathhouse. Other than that it was great!

It was just okay. The workers were very nice. The walking trails are overgrown. We were not told there was no hot water in one of the bathhouses. Didn’t find out until in the shower stall. Needed to be mowed in several areas. Not enough fire rings for spots. Overall just needs some work. We were there on a Saturday night and nothing was going on in the community areas.

Very friendly. Very comfortable. Our stay was perfect for us to work on our rural campsite in Hog Valley.. We will look forward to staying again. Thank You All.

We had a great time as always. Great weekend had a few trick a treaters come by. We had a fun time riding our sxs on the trails.

The 50 amp RV spaces are in major disrepair. Major washouts, been that way since our stay last year. The spot we chose this year had a serious shock threat while plugging in . They seem mor interested in selling spots and allowing fences to be installed that will hamper backing longer rv’s into spots across the street. Trees hanging low in many areas!

We did not find this to be of KOA Standards. It seems to be a very dated park. At check in we were told to just go pick our spot. We had friends staying in a cabin and wanted to be in a spot close and the young lady didn't even know if the sites behind the cabins were available and they weren't they were private property. We finally had to call the office to have someone help us.

We're just tent campers. We don't need much. Bathrooms with showers were nice. Seemed to be clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Just nice overall experience. I'm sure we'll be back.

I didn't get to see much of the park as it was so late and so dark by the time wefinally found the entrance. The sign was laying down on the side of the road and was not visible at night. You only want to drive there in daylight because of the roads to get there - very rural! I paid for 2 sites and the 2nd motor home missed the entrance and went down a road that he couldn't turn around on.

It is in the middle of nowhere and the trees drop all kinds of spurs that get stuck in dogs feet. No where safe to walk the dogs. Will never go back. Plus people also living there. Not like a normal KOA

Worst KOA we've ever stayed at in entire country, cold pool, cold shower, lawn hasn't been mowed in a month, streets/roads not wide enough to accommodate any large rv, lot was not level, but only place to stay and ride the narrow un maintained Ocala trail sys

Great if you have an ATV. Back to nature is what this location is all about. Please know that groceries are a LONG way away, Staff is super!

The close quarters takes a little getting used to but once you do, it's awesome here ! Customer service was equally as good.

This was our first camping trip in the south and we absolutely loved it. The sites were spacious, kid had a blast. This will definitely be a spot we come back to!!

We enjoyed ourselves very much. There is definitely an ant problem and didn't enjoy the loud music from a group nearby. Staff was great and everything was very clean.

It seems that the campground owners/staff do not want to make improvements or upgrades. Not that it was the fault of the campground, but our motorhome became infested with ants. When I told the staff about the ants while trying to purchase ant killer in their "store", they did not seem to care nor did they have any ant killer in their store. lol They could spray the grounds...

No comparison to the other campgrounds we stayed at during our trip. The office staff seemed bored , just handed me a map then when I hesitated said I could pick any campsite. Did not explain rules or trash expectations . At campsite water faucet was malfunctioning

We love staying at this campground, but this time there was NO hot water in the bath house furthest from office. Also, they need to stop selling off sites and leave some for campers that come there to enjoy the view and forest.

Uneven grass sites power went out called office said somebody would contact us never heard from anyone had to run generator until dark when power post circuit breakers finally reset. Before arriving called to get directions said somebody would cal never heard from anyone. Absolutely no response to any calls. They appear to be more interested in sellin lots than the KOA people.

The grass at campsite was knee high had to have a family member bring a weed eater out to knock it down also no hot water in the showers the entire weekend

It's a good place for off road riding though the forest and camping combined with friendly staff to I'll be going back soon

Disorganized, maps did not match campsites, no maintenance on trail to lake. Repaired water line in the middle of our stay & had to boil water for use. Seems like we came in the middle of transition from one group to another?

We rented an adorable cabin #34 for 2 nights while we used the trails with our SxS. Only thing that didn't work was the TV but explained to us had to do with lighting!! Which we get. So hopefully next time it works. But love it there super peaceful and a little home away from home.

Great weekend! We stayed in a park model. Very clean surfaces, but the furnishings weren't and needed updating. Nice area especially if you like the National Forest trails/ATV riding. We visited Silver Springs, Salt Springs, Fort McCoy and Ocala. Beautiful views of Lake Ocklawaha reservoir/river as this spacious campground actually sits up high on a mountain range which is unique for Florida.

Staff was friendly, my site that was recommended to me by late check in security had a full septic that they knew doesn't work, I was parked next too a longterm family who was less than pleasant, the pool stayed dirty with a pile of sand at the bottom for 3weeks no fresh water added and algae growing on the sides, no pest control maintenance the black ants were everywhere and I lost power 3times.

The park was great. They don't really assign a spot, so it is kind of first come first serve. However, there were plenty of spots. The pool and bath house were both very clean. The grounds were well kept. The access road to the riding trails was perfect. The lady ( I cannot remember her name) at the office/store, was very pleasant and helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

The campgrounds were cleaner than 2 years ago.But Lots of little pieces of trash from prior campers. Pool deck still has grass growing out between pavers. Ants for Days ! How come No military discount? Mediocre……

What a great, out of the way place to camp. Located beside a lake, there was always a nice breeze blowing. Campsites are very large and are all pull-through, which is a nice option. Bathhouse/clubhouse is very nice and the restrooms are clean. Staff is very friendly. It's not your typical KOA, as everything is very laid back, probably because it is located in the middle of nowhere. It's one of those places where you go if all you want to do is camp and relax. They do have activities for children in the morning.
