We enjoy this location as a quiet easy stop over on our NE to SE trips. I’m not sure why they put you in between 2 other occupied sites when there are 20 empties surrounding though. We would prefer a space in between.

Very nicely maintained park however very narrow roads and not close to pool or hotel amenities if you don’t have a car to get there. We don’t tow a car so we’re stuck at campsite as we can’t walk those hills. Good got an overnight stay

We are a little different we share staff with our hotel. If you needed anything all you had to do was call the hotel. I apologize for your stay not being what you had expected.

It's a very beautiful and serene place to stay. Employees at the front desk are very pleasant, informative, and helpful. A nice addition to your stay is the free ice for your cooler that's available in the restroom building. Also there is a very nice fenced in pet park on the property. I would recommend this place.

Just wish we had been closer to shower house and restaurant. Would have liked to walk to both places but was unable to do so. No parking area at showers and amphitheater......

If you had a personal vehicle you can park by the bathhouse just not parking for your rig there.

The young man who checked us in was very friendly and efficient. They had held the site for us that we had requested when making the reservations. The restrooms were clean and well maintained. We will be back.

A blueprint for a great KOA. Attached to a hotel. They understand hospitality and KOA understands RVing. Quiet park, level spots, clean facilities. Loved it.

Excellent staff and when things went south with the weather, they stepped up. The site was in great shape. Even a very late reservation for an event that was thought to be confirmed (my fault) was easy and very close to my original request. I can say enough about the Skidmores...It is a 5 star place to enjoy your time.

Access is difficult with a large rig. Steep road going in and out. Site was impossible to level. Fireworks went off at 10:00pm 2 out of three nights. We were in what they call the baseball field and it was a good walk to any facilities. Should have followed the on line reviews. We were in a 45 foot motorhome.

Flatwoods koa is a great overnight stop very quiet not far off the interstate we would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and quiet campground, would appreciate cable TV to be able to check on local news and weather.

1 night intransit stop, level large site. The Day’s Inn where we had to register prior to going to our site and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant served great food and wasn’t too expensive.

We have family reunion (Dodrill- Gross) every two years. Twice in a row now, we have been flooded out at the ampitheatre building for at least part of our weekend. Please address the drainage issue as that feature is one of the things that bring us back to Flatwoods.

Very quiet and peaceful. Checkin was easy. Other campers were friendly. Great spot off of the highway with gas and shops nearby.

Nice size lots, clean, bathroom, facilities, easy check in. They offered both an indoor as well as an outdoor pool for warmer weather. They also had a gym for those who prefer to work out indoors. There was a nice playground area for children as well as a canine area for your fur babies. ������

This is a very quiet and well maintained campground exactly what you expect a journey to be. We stayed during week. Only a few campers in park. The area is beautiful. Staff at check in were very pleasant.

Lacks canopy maintenance even after a request to trim low hanging branches. Falsely advertise they sell Hunt Brothers pizza, they don't. My pull thru was off level front to rear and side to side. The result was my MH was 9 3/4" low on the R/rear corner. Neighboring sites were the same. You will have to disconnect a trailer to level.

I'm sorry you had some issues. But I think this is for another KOA. We don't have the canopy or a Hunt brother pizza. The restaurant is the Woods and Waters that is located in the Days Inn hotel.

A very nice and clean campground. Showers were fantastic. Lots of room at camp sites and quite. If ever passing through again will definitely stop.

5 th visit for us… we prefer the area near the amphitheater much more. Such a long way up the hill to the swimming pool and sure could have used it. We stop here coming and going out west.

This is a smallish RV Park in proximity to a Days Inn, and an Amphitheater. The full hookup pull through gravel sites are off asphalt access roads, and mostly level. The convenient hookups are modern, and functioned properly. No cable tv, 3 OTA stations (PBS), and a big sky for satellite, their included WiFi was mostly okay, but did not always provide a reliable signal - Verizon cell service is good. Not much of a destination, it is a good overnight - check in at the Motel, and travel down the hill to your site. Good clean bathrooms, and free ice - bonus.
