Beautiful campground, with numerous levels so sites seems private and secluded. Odd that you check in at the Days Inn, therefore there is no camp store. Also the K-9 camp dog park is on the lowest level and unfortunately, our camp site was 2 levels above so there was no way for me to walk my small pups to the dog park without them becoming exhausted. Should have received a spot close to the dog pa

Wifi was pretty much unusable at 400kbs and no cable. Off air consisted of 3 PBS channels. Bathrooms/showers and laundry were great. Best ever at a KOA.

50 amp would trip out my fault system on the rv. Had to run off of 30 amp. Had the same problem at a different campground. We were only overnight so we managed.

Very beautiful and clean campground. Only problem is there is no cable TV and no Air reception, so nothing to do on rainy days.

It was a nice quiet park and a good overnight stop. But as aKOA it’s missing. We’ve been spoiled. We expect a evening pizza (or lobster in Maine) and a propane refill. I think the Day’s Inn associated with the camp ground has a restaurant. Clean and quiet.

Terry was fantastic. She was so personable and accommodating with every aspect of her job. The sites were very well kept as well as the bath house. We will definitely be returning.

Flatwoods KOA is the best KOA we have ever stayed in. It is beautiful, sites are big enough for our 45’ Allegro Bus and it is fabulously maintained. There are wonderful places to walk and Terry at the front desk was very kind.

we were only there one night. it was a clean campground with grass near all of the spaces. the restroom and showers were very clean. you register at the days inn and have access to its amenities. nice walking paths close by. also near a Walmart so you can stalk up on supplies.

The park was relatively easy to get to from the interstate. But the roads and hills in their were hard to manoeuvre as we were 57’ long. Scrapping our undercarriage on some of the peaks when leaving. Also a dumpster for our garbage would have been nice. We had to take it with us

A hidden gem. Tucked up on a hill behind The Day’s Inn are four separate and distinct areas in this campground. All sites are spacious pull thrus with full hook up. Signage is excellent and it is well maintained. You check in at the reception desk of the Day’s Inn with lots of space to manoeuvre. We camped their in a motorhome pulling a car.

This campground is convenient if you are passing thru- it is essentially right in the back yard of the Day's Inn and like being downtown. Road is very narrow and 2 RV's could not pass- we had a toad so there was no way to back up. Check in easy as you go to the Day'sInn to check in and campsiteitself was fine and a pull thru so did not have to disconnect towed . Wouldn't recommend large rv

Just stopped overnight enroute home from South Carolina. Front desk very helpful. Ate at restaurant because been driving all day. Food and service excellent.

Overall had a nice stay even though it was for just one night grass could have been cut at several of the pull through sites in the lower level before the amphitheater but I think we will stay again in the near future

Great stay Great place. Walking areas were very nice. One suggestion is to have better Welcome Paperwork like all the other KOA. We rcvd only an 8.5 x 11 sheet of copy paper with the map printed on it and there Wi-Fi code. Also no cable but I think we knew that going in. But we still will give it a 5 star

Nice rv park for on/off highway. Bathrooms/shower area are clean but what is the odor? Please label the laundry room doors.

My wife and I were looking for a campground close to us for the first trip of the year, and an internet search led me to this campground. We live 1.5 hours from Flatwoods, so this was perfect. The campground was very clean, the Days Inn staff was great. No TV was actually nice. WiFi was nice to have while it was raining and we were stuck in the camper. We stayed 3 nights. Will stay hear again.

30 amp circuit not working, not a level site, no choice of sites even tho not many camping, expensive

Quick check in, although no campground information other than a map to get to the site. ie, is garbage picked up at site or not. No indication of dumpsters on the map if there is no site pickup. Sites OK, nothing spectacular. As many KOA's anymore, I don't think there is good value for the dollar.

This place is gorgeous. Very clean and well maintained. It was so nice to walk to water and woods restaurant and the food there was good. Would definitely recommend

This is a smallish RV Park in proximity to a Days Inn, and an Amphitheater. The full hookup pull through gravel sites are off asphalt access roads, and mostly level. The convenient hookups are modern, and functioned properly. No cable tv, 3 OTA stations (PBS), and a big sky for satellite, their included WiFi was mostly okay, but did not always provide a reliable signal - Verizon cell service is good. Not much of a destination, it is a good overnight - check in at the Motel, and travel down the hill to your site. Good clean bathrooms, and free ice - bonus.
