Employees were super helpful and friendly. Wish you could start the gem mining water yourself as we got a bag and wanted to do it in halves and when we went back the next day the water was no longer running. Also blanket choices in bunk bedroom were both thin and scratchy and my daughter complained about both. But we loved it, had a great time, and will be back.

Updated, clean, large bathrooms. Camp is very well kept. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Had a great brief stay here. The little cabin we rented was perfect for us ! Staff was amazing as was the BBQ and bluegrass entertainment on Saturday night. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back and have already recommended Fancy Gap KOA to friends !

Very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Room (Delux Cabin) and facilities were all good. Onsite food to order is quite good. Hosts are helpful and welcoming.

We always love this place. However this time the person checking us in was not as "welcoming" as we are used to. Nothing bad just by the book and did not want to listen that we knew what cabin we were in and how to get there. Nope, have to wait to be escorted and he had to park us exact. Otherwise clean & excellent as usual. Bought yet another balloon spinner! Love this place

The cabin was very clean and kitchen/bathroom were well stocked with necessities. We have been to many other KOA cabins, and none were as clean or in as great of condition as Fancy Gap's! Dave's Smokehouse was a wonderful surprise when we checked in. Our favorite KOA by far, we can't wait to return.

Beautiful campground with lots of activities, the atmosphere is exactly what our family was looking for, small and tucked into the mountain. Customer service was phenomenal, clean barhrooms, clean cabin and an overall 10/10 ! We will definitely be staying again !

There's no place like Fancy Gap. The staff there makes everything a service waiting to be done for you. All you have to do is ask if they haven't already thought of it ahead of you. Greatest place to connect with your grandkids.

Love the koa campsite at fancy gap. My only issue was getting the futon opened then closed. Needed help as there were no instructions.

This is a great spot for a little R&R. The camp is clean and has many extras-e.g. a dog run, dinner delivery on weekends, outside sinks by grills, and extra nice cabins. We loved our stay.

Beautiful clean campground and facilities. Owners take such pride in this place. Campstore is outstanding. And the pizzas and bbq (delivered to the site) are so yummy. Pet friendly!!!

Once again an excellent stay. Was not sure we were going to get a cabin this time as they were all booked, last minute cancellation and got the deluxe cabin #5. WOW amazing cabin, clean and plenty of room and love the two decks. Staff was excellent as usual. Still our favorite KOA so far. Not sure our travels bring us back this way in 2023 but next near for sure

What an awesome experience! It was refreshing and relaxing. We can't say enough great things about the owners and the staff. We have now found a KOA favorite and will be back in the near future. Dave and Angie run the best KOA on the planet!! Very clean, very pretty (all the flowers and decorations are awesome!), Great food (and they deliver to your campsite!!), lots of things to do for all ages! Just Perfect!! Wish we could come up every weekend!!!

Wonderful campground! We were the first campers of 2024, and we won a small prize. We had a wonderful view, it was very quiet and off the beaten path. Lots of activities for children and cute cottages for folks to stay in. Our site was nice and level and we had no problems with power or water. Definitely recommend this KOA and we hope to return in the future!
