We had such a great time at KOA campground! There are plenty of activities for kids to do. Everyone was very nice and professional. The campground and facilities are kept very tidy and in good working order. Perfect family getaway!

This was the absolute best experience we’ve ever had at a campground. Well organized with fun events in the evening for the kids. The staff went above and beyond for us! Thank you for making our stay a rememberable one!

It's a little frustrating that we were only allowed one tent on site, esp. when the tents we had were a solo & a 2-man backpacking tents--far smaller than a footprint of a larger 3-4 person tent. My mother had to sleep in the car because we couldn't use a second tent on the site. It's especially frustrating when sites around us were constantly breaking the rules (hammocks, clotheslines, etc.)

We stayed two nights tent camping. The grounds etc. were clean and maintained. The shower/bathrooms were clean but getting old. There is plenty to do if you have a family.

We enjoyed our stay at the KOA. The heated pool and fishing pond was nice. Tent site was nicely shaded. Bathrooms by the tents could have been cleaner. We will likely stay again next year for our annual Erie trip.

I will never stay at this campground again unless it changes owners. We were sitting at a fire at 11:05 and my kids were giggling in the tent. Jamie popped out of the woods and said we weren't allowed to talk after 11 because its quiet hours. This happened to multiple families while we were there. The second night the same thing happened and they said they were calling the cops

The camp ground is great. The owners Sharon and Jamie are creepy and crazy all mixed in one. They target families and harass them. We witnessed them doing this to our neighbors. They told them they had 15 minutes to leave at 1 am. They said they called the authorities. The family went into their tent and waited for the authorities that never came. You aren’t allowed to talk after 11pm. Go to bed

It was very wet and muddy, but we had fun. The bathrooms in the back by the tent sites need some fixing up/updating. They are looking rundown and very worn. They also smell musty. But we do like the updates they are doing to the campsites, just hope they can get the rest of them updated. We also think some additional chairs to sit on in the game room/laundry room would be nice as well.

This was my first solo camping trip, and I couldn’t have picked a better place. I felt safe the entire time, and the wonderful staff made me feel at home. All staff I encountered was friendly, helpful, and very kind. The site was well maintained, and beautiful. The bathrooms were kept clean. I will definitely be back again.

Tent camped. We were out at an awesome site with a nice new gravel pad. There didn’t seem to be many tent sites and most were small and in a field. We lucked out. All staff was kinda. We never ran into the infamous owners we heard were mean. Game room cost money for all and my kids said the games didn’t work and just stole quarters. But loved the grounds and pool! Lots to do in the area!

The tent-only “sites” are extremely small and my assigned site was a gravel patch with no grass or soft ground to place my tent. This combined with the fact that they don’t allow for the use of hammocks made for a very uncomfortable stay for me. Not a good camping experience, I won’t be back to this location.

Everything was very nice. Amenities were great. My only complaint is that no outside firewood and the price to purchase firewood is $1.00 per log. Give more logs for fire or allow outside wood. I would stay there again in the future.

Sharon, if your reading this you should be ashamed of yourself. You are mentally unstable and a liability to everyone you interact with. If you insist on owning a campground you need to stay away from the business and let others run it unless you want to go bankrupt. Your continual harassment and abuse to others with catch up with you. I hope you fail miserably and learn how to treat people.

We will never go back to this KOA. The owners were very rude and disrespectful to our kids and friends. The owner Sharon was yelling and threatening to call the cops at my friend's autistic child who was visibly shaking out of fear and Sharon's husband called the next day and his response to her being upset was "Well, maybe that’s why you should have had her inside then.” Read that again.

Lovely primitive tent spaces. Overall the campground was quiet, comfortable, clean, and had lots to do. The kids had a great time. Be prepared to spend a fortune on firewood!

The cleanest campground I've stayed at with the friendliest owners! The firewood drop-off service right to our campsite was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back, next time with friends!

Everything was nice and clean. The boat dock and peddle boats looked uncared for, old, and unused. I would either update them or remove them.

Great accommodations & always a fun time for the whole family. The new water wars was super fun! The kids loved the geologist talk very much (very informative). The DJ was fun too.

By far the cleanest, most organized koa’s we’ve been too. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they were very clear on the campground’s rules as well as amenities and activities around the campground.

KOAs have always been our favorites. I will say these sites were very very close together, no grass for a tent site, and kids riding their bikes over a hill technically I’m between our site and the next one but really only 2 feet away from me sitting at my campfire.

The work that has been done here since the last time I stayed is amazing! The tighter restrictions are actually very refreshing, as our stay was super peaceful and relaxing. Keep up the amazing work and we will definitely be staying here again! You guys are awesome!

Our recent stay was absolutely wonderful! My family enjoyed the pool and fishing, along with a live animal show from Jungle Terry and evening outdoor movies. It was safe and easy for the kids to ride bikes and walk around the grounds to the playground area without worry. As parents we were able to relax and the hosts were very friendly. I would highly recommend this KOA!

We have camped at the KOA for several years but the experience this year with the new owner was very frustrating. She went to our site past 11pm and started yelling at us telling us to shut up and not to say a peep or she will have the police escort us out. She accused me of drinking all day (which was false) and said she's tired of dealing with drunk people. I will never return

We tent camped for the weekend. The bathrooms were in close proximity. The site itself was smaller than I imagined but it was enough for a small 4 man tent. Nice, quiet campground.

The male owner was great after much negotiation. He has a good heart. Sad to see the Teepees gone, the paddle boats gone, and the limit for no more than one tent on site. Every state park allows this. I appreciate the owners help, but will not be returning. We had GREAT TIME LAST YEAR. This year, not so much. Heading back to private parks.

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.

I am not the best person when it comes to writing reviews - I tend to forget to do it- but I felt compelled to write one this time. We had an amazing time at this KoA for the eclipse, and we were very happy with the accommodations they provided. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and far more convenient than we expected. The beds were comfortable, we had access to a grill, propane stove, etc which we absolutely loved using; and the grounds were very well kept. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They even gave out gift bags for the eclipse party, including eclipse glasses. The firewood was dry and burned easily in the fire pit, and they delivered it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again, and; think we will the next time we want to go visit lake Erie!
