The owners where amazing and so personable. They knew us everytime our paths crossed and had genuine conversations with us. They also went above & beyond for us. Our cabin was SO CLEAN! The atmosphere was relaxing and family friendly. We can't wait to come back.

VERY RUDE OWNERS. Sharon has zero people skills and speaks to customers as if they are so below her. Our family was made to feel like a major inconvenience to her. 3 stars because the campground is overall very nicely kept. Clean restrooms & showers and nice spots.

My teenage grandkids were chased out of the pool because there was no legal guardian present, even though they are excellent swimmers and over 6 feet tall. No DJ Saturday night and no pancake breakfast Sunday morning (as advertised on the web page). Other than that, we had a great camping experience.

We didn't think it was a very fun campground for kids. The park is not toddler friendly. We got in trouble for sitting around the fire conversating at 11:30. Our dog was not allowed at the park. The 1 in pads were super uncomfortable to sleep. Very clean facilities. Would recommend for elderly who want peace and quiet, but not for families who want to have fun on vacation.

Very clean! Alot for the kids to keep busy! Very very very friendly! The owner even took time to talk with us several times even though he was super busy because they are short handed! This was our fourth time staying with you and we will definitely be back! Thank you for your hospitality! God bless!

Great amenities. We had a wonderful stay in a cabin - it was clean and well equipped. All of the workers were so welcoming & helpful. We’ve already shared with friends how pleased we were with our visit.

We had a great time and the staff was very friendly. On our last night there I woke up early to a mouse crawling on me. After it running back and forth several times, we got it trapped in a vent that wasn’t securely shut. We quickly packed up and left the campground by 8am. The grounds are lovely, so I might recommend this KOA for anyone not bringing kids, not having visitors and not planning to have campfires past 11pm. The owners were extremely rude to our party on several occasions. I have never felt so disrespected by staff in my 20 years of travel for work and family trips. We will never be back.

I won't be back! My impression of this campground is they have no interest in creating a friendly atmosphere for their patrons and have no interest whatsoever in repeat customers. Please read the many recent reviews of this campground on TripAdvisor and Yelp before making reservations. Sharron (the manager) has the personality of an Army Drill Instructor and appears to be on a power trip!

We come every year, our kids love it here. Things to improve- the curtains in the deluxe cabins are super thin and basically see-through. They also don’t cover the window completely on either side.

New owners are crazy ! Especially, Sharon. Don’t bother sitting by your fire past 11pm. You will be asked to go to bed or kicked out like we were. Find another place ! Sparrow pond is close and really nice !

my family had a great time at KOA. Erie PA. the upkeep was very nice. my kids loved that the pond was so close to the cabin for fishing. And how close the camp sight was to Presque Isle State Park and all the attractions around

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.

I am not the best person when it comes to writing reviews - I tend to forget to do it- but I felt compelled to write one this time. We had an amazing time at this KoA for the eclipse, and we were very happy with the accommodations they provided. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and far more convenient than we expected. The beds were comfortable, we had access to a grill, propane stove, etc which we absolutely loved using; and the grounds were very well kept. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They even gave out gift bags for the eclipse party, including eclipse glasses. The firewood was dry and burned easily in the fire pit, and they delivered it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again, and; think we will the next time we want to go visit lake Erie!
