Nice relaxing 2 night getaway. Enjoyed it. We were lucky and had nobody in the site next to ours. The sites are very close together, if it had been busy I would’ve only stayed one night for the price.

Nice campground very clean and nice lake. Pool was nice and heated. A little over-priced for what is offered. Signs every where no outside wood allowed due to state or county regulations. This is not true. You can burn wood in PA. Or county. Neighbors sold camp fire wood alot cheaper. Owners only thought was to have monopoly on firewood. Change policy I will return.

Nice place and contrary to what others have said, we had no issues with the owners or staff. Only wish they would do monthly or weekly rates. We will have to stay elsewhere next summer when we are in Erie for a month.

Though website states quiet time is talk limited to campsite, Sharon patrols at 11pm, hides behind bushes and evicts 4 night paid campers after 1 night for quietly talking by our campfire, threatens to call police.. Husband, Jamie, cops an attitude next morning discussing previous nights encounter, gives 1 hour to pack up and leave without refund. Money scam.One star reviews are true. Never KOA.

I have been camping for many years and have never come across such a crazy and rude owner. A friend of ours came and did not know he was not allowed to bring wood and he had some in his truck. She made him black bag it all up before she would let him. The owners never came around until 11pm. The crazy lady would come around with her flashlight and harass you even if you were sitting quietly around

I won't be returning. Should have read reviews first. KOA should be embarrassed to have owners like this running a campground with their name on it. The campground itself is just OK. Sites are too close together. Septic pipe was too far from hookup. Insanely strict rules.

The site was decent (small) and firewood delivery was a great idea but they charge for everything. To bring guest in which was more then I could ever pay. and for kids to ride their little pedal cars.

We went with our daughters family, she has small children and we were nervous with the reviews we read that it was gonna be a bad stay. The place was great. The kids had fun in the pool and on the playground. There were movies every night. The location is perfect for going to the beach and other activities. The park is spotless.

Never get tired of staying at this KOA. The owners, Jamie & Sharon, will go out of their way to help you. The CG itself is well maintained & expanding. Rest rooms/ showers are clean. The adverse comments posted on line concerning the enforcement of the Rules & Regulations should be taken with a grain of salt!

Check in was fine - very friendly host. Decent camp store. Site was a pull through - that was a bit depressed so very mushy ground and the rain made it worse. Narrow sites - was thankful only 1 side was occupied.

Nice campground. Owners are strict about outside wood even from down the road. They spent a lot of $ trying to save the trees on the property. Call after hrs and they will probably deliver wood to your site. Just be respectful and you will have a good stay.

Breathe of fresh air to see owners holding campers accountable to park rules. Nice and clean, long sites, plenty of things for kids to enjoy. Reptile man was great!

We had a fantastic site, and we enjoyed walking around the campground with our corgis. My only complaint was the older woman who checked us in was not friendly, and was in welcoming. She told us all the rules, each one followed with the comment,”strictly enforced!” She didn’t mention a single one of the fun activities happening every day at the campground.

I was a little concerned after reading other reviews but we had no problems at all. Sue checked us in and was very pleasant. My son even spoke with her later in our stay and he said how nice she was to him. I appreciate the curfew since the sites are so close together. This is our 2nd time and we will be back.

Amenities are nice but they need to have customer service training. Enforcing rules is one thing - talking down to people is another.

The campground was very nice. One of the nicer ones we have stayed at. The owner spoke with my kids the first night we were there about being too loud during quiet time. The next day we were eating dinner with our friends so we drove the supplies over. My friend was asked if there were unregistered vehicles at his site. When it could have been easily checked out without bothering him.

It was a very clean and well kept campground, but there were very strict rules and the visitor charge was higher than anywhere we have ever stayed. If our family is coming to visit us in Erie again I would not stay at this campground.

First off the KOA was nice, the people working there I believe the owners. Were rude to everyone in our group one way or another. Other campers were complaining as well. Unless this change considerably we will think twice about going back

Bathrooms were dirty. Showers had mold around the top. Needs cleaned more thoroughly and more often. Walk way around bathroom was in bad shape, my 4 year old fell through the one board. Campground itself was really nice.

We just had an overnight stay but the camp is very clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful. We will be back for sure.

The management at this facility is consumed in greed, disrespect, and authoritarianism. I have never experienced such evil in the world of camping. This husband and wife are clearly in this for financial gain and to fulfill a deep need to exercise power. This campground is anything but happy and is not for people who are there to enjoy anything!!

We always enjoy our stay here. The grands have a blast in the pool, fishing in the pond and making new friends. The evening movies are always a hit- the grands even get to help choose what will play each night. Jamie and Sharon have done a nice job maintaining and upgrading the sites. We look forward to our stays here.

Thank you for providing available sites after hours. You saved us when we found ourselves having to pull off the interstate late at night. Area campgrounds didn’t answer the phone or return our calls.

This was the 6th time my family has stayed at this particular KOA. The first 5 times were great but this time was awful. The owners, specifically the wife Sharon, is awful. She verbally attacked my mother and husband saying we were taking too loud. The next morning her husband Jamie came to our site and yelled at my husband again. Then she came back and demanded we leave 2 days early. Awful KOA

I’ve been to a lot of Koa campgrounds and this is my favorite! Very friendly staff and very well kept camp. Lots of things to do there, fishing was fantastic kids had a ball. It’s a annual stop for us from now on!

The campground was nice and check-in was very easy. The owner was not so nice. Spoke to us like we were criminals for bringing our own firewood. Then continued to drive by our camp site looking at our fire pit. He really needs to watch how he speaks to people. Never burned one piece of firewood!!!

We had the best experience at this KOA. We were actually upgraded as there had been so much rain- they wanted us to have a dry spot. It was quiet- well kept and in a great location. Host was very friendly. We will come back!

First off, this campground was opened early for the Total Eclipse event. We were handed a thoughtful gift bag of eclipse related items. The grounds are beautiful and clean. We were in space #27, a graveled area fitting our 35-foot fifth wheel truck, Our campsite was surrounded by families with pets who were all so friendly. A huge "THANK YOU" to the owners and staff for making our camping experience amazing!! The hard work put into making sure us campers had what we needed was much appreciated.

I am not the best person when it comes to writing reviews - I tend to forget to do it- but I felt compelled to write one this time. We had an amazing time at this KoA for the eclipse, and we were very happy with the accommodations they provided. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly clean and far more convenient than we expected. The beds were comfortable, we had access to a grill, propane stove, etc which we absolutely loved using; and the grounds were very well kept. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They even gave out gift bags for the eclipse party, including eclipse glasses. The firewood was dry and burned easily in the fire pit, and they delivered it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again, and; think we will the next time we want to go visit lake Erie!
