We love the site by the woods!! Fishing is great and everything is clean. We also love that for a KOA. it's on the smaller side so we can actually let our kids have some freedom without being worried something will happen. Tons of activites provided as well!

Our family loves staying at Emmett KOA - the staff is exceptional and the facilities are well cared for! Plus the environment is family friendly and always a good time.

Was charged 120 more then my reservation stated and wasn’t informed of the up charge and all the fees till I was there and checking in even know they knew I had a tent and and 3 people had I known there was gonna be a fee for everything i would have stayed elsewhere not to mention none of the amenities were open till our last day there definitely wouldn’t recommend

We have been coming here for about 7 years during Halloween. This might be our last year. They campground is great, lots of amenities and activities. The crowd that gets attracted here has degraded over the years. Year after year now we deal with lots of drunks, all night noise, and campers wandering through everyone’s sites. Not the family campground it was years ago.

This was our 4th Halloween weekend here and the first time we have been disappointed. We had kids waiting in line for the hayride on Saturday and as they loaded everyone up at 840 told my kids it was the last ride...we joined them in line while the wagon was still there - and it left. After it pulled away we thought they would be back to give US the last ride - we were wrong. Very disappointed.

They went all out for Halloween! The campground is very well maintained. You can tell they do a lot of work to keep it looking nice. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I can’t wait to go again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This KOA seems to be more interested in unnecessary amenities rather than upgrading the camping experience. Upon arrival we were met by a powered security gate. We were incorrectly charged the $10 KOA site selection fee. Site was quite unlevel and WIFI did not extend to our site. Spend more $$ on camping and less on useless items such as outdoor chess games and other useless amenities. No value

I’ve stayed here for over 10 years, the new owners have made it my last. When did camping become non-family, Why is it children over the age of 5 are charged per day per child. The extra fee to park your car out front is also a bit absurd. When it rains there are puddles that are so deep you have to wear boots to get to your camper. We are extremely disappointed. $220 for 3 nights…2 adults

So much fun! We went with a group of 40 adults/children. The children had so much to do from playgrounds, activities and the camp store! It was a Halloween weekend so the fun was endless!

We are very happy with booking our camping trips with Emmett KOA. Very nice and helpful staff and the camp is always clean. They are making great improvements. Thank you for making our vacation with good memories

Really trying to understand why restrooms are cleaned at 8-8:30 a.m.nthe time when mostt people would use them. The campground used to have more activities such as bingo and breakfast on Sunday mornings. The lake looks in poor shape overall. Not very inviting

Great campground with a lot of activities. However, the location of the dump station is ridiculous. It blocks both incoming and exiting traffic. Please consider relocating the dump station!

I felt like I was nickel and dimed to death. If you get to the park an hour before check in you have to pay $15 for early check in, and no one is on the site that you registered for. We made a reservation for next year and had to pay an extra $10 to guarantee the reservation, isn’t that the purpose of a reservation? The campground has some nice sites if you get one with cement pads. We only stayed one night during the week we were one of maybe 5 transient trailers. We were assigned a site that had no grass or stone. It rained and it was a mud pit In fact most of the sites with the exception of the cement pads are similiar. Also have to buy their firewood not many pieces should be able to support other locals

snack bar closed even though signs states times it would be open. staff at officed blamed it on a shortage of help. sites are sandy and unkept, and when it rains becomes muddy and puddled. roads have potholes, and when it rains it is even worse. noiced scan ticket to enter, makes accountability better and keeps many vehicles of guests out

Everything was amazing! The staff and the park was by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Since moving out of state, my husband and I only return back to Michigan 1 time a year to camp and set up the haunted house with our friends and seriously this year was so smooth and all around perfect time! Can’t wait to come back

Your campsite have a lot of sand and very little grass. When it rains, the sand sticks to everything.

We love camping here and do 4 trips a year here. However this weekend we were assigned a campsite that didn’t not fit out camper. The site was smaller than our camper was in length. We were able to move to the site next to us but the hookups were poorly placed and had to go underneath our camper. We will make sure to pick our site every-time for now on.

Emmett koa is one of our favorite campground s, You're quiet you're in the woods we love the fishing, Jimmy and his staff are so wonderful, We were just there over halloween weekend, And they went all out with the haunted hayride in the haunted forest, We don't even have young children we are adults and we enjoyed it, It's our favorite hopefully we can be back One more time this year.

Staff was great. The park could use some gravel or some type of topping for RV units. The ground is a very fine dirt that gets everywhere and is difficult to clean. The laundry room is dirty and dingy. The machines are very old and not very efficient and only two of three washers were operational which one of them leaked a lot.

Picture of site 005 needs to be updated to show there’s a big tree stump in the middle of the site and not a tree. Grill did not work but a different one was brought to the site. We were able to cook dinner albeit much later than we’d planned. Park was nice and bath house was reasonably clean.

Check-in process very poorly organized. The requirement for an escort to site seems unnecessary considering sites are marked and map provided. Quiet hours starting at 11pm seems a bit late for young kids trying to sleep with a loud DJ/concert going on. Also did not appreciate phone call 24 hours prior to check-in trying to get me to “lock in” site for additional fee. Seems cheap/nickle and dim

It’s not a bad campground, honestly just nothing special to make it stand out….. very small which may be a plus, but exiting the campground on Sunday is a disaster…… you literally could be stuck in line for an hour, even if you don’t have to dump, because of the one ways you’re stuck jumping pillow big deal, neat lil in the woods scary Forrest, but man this place nickels & dimes for

Thank you for choosing us for your Halloween camping. We are sorry this was your experience. We do our best to monitor the park at night with night security walking the park. Once notified of the situation, we monitored the area closer and notified our campers in hope we could catch those out late.

I call it Nickel&Dime the campers. The office called my family member & asked if he wanted to guarantee his site if so, pay $15 extra. Disgusting since he already paid a deposit for a site. Then charging for visitors is bad too. Visitor is purchasing from your camp store & snack bar too. Just all around disappointing. I will not go back & I’ll tell everyone who asks me the reason.

Thank you for your feedback. We hope you were able to enjoy our Halloween events. Online reservations are often made with requests to be near someone without choosing to lock in a site, we do make courtesy calls to try and lock campers in to be near friends to ensure system does not move them.

Kids liked the huge swimming area. Walked around the pond and saw frogs and tadpoles. Kids play area was nice.
