Best campground around great for families with kids

Had a great time!! The campground was very nice. Very friendly staff!! Bathrooms could use an update especially with shower doors for more privacy.

We did enjoy our stay. We loved there were things the kids and adults could do. The prices were fair at the store! Most of the staff were above and beyond wonderful. The check in process I was not a fan of need somewhere to park so you don't have that traffic line up and leaving kids in the car. The girls in store were not the nicest especially near closing. Door handle was missing on cabin.

First time here and it was great. All the kids had fun, only thing I wish was different- the showers were bigger so I could if given the kids a shower but it was very difficult with how small they are to give them showers together and properly. Definitely plan to come back! Thank you!!

Got there 45 min early and was charged an early fee, no wifi or cell service when it said wifi available.

Excellent care, very friendly, super clean and hosts were always there to answer questions. We needed sewer pipe and help with connections and they were there in a matter of minutes. I did have ticks come home with us and luckily our pet is protected, but that is expected in the outdoors. I would recommend this place to every family, single or retiree. Great Job KOA.

Visitor parking is really really bad. Very dangerous to have to park on a road with no shoulder. Other than that big problem. The staff is really friendly.

Thank you for the positive feedback on our staff. They work hard to ensure all of our campers needs are met. We are in the process of building a parking lot to accommodate second cars and visitors.

The owner was very nice and made sure a small hole was filled in on our site right away. Very nice camp ground with great fishing.

We were charged an extra $10 for early check in which we felt was unjustified since the park was near empty. Also there was no internet except y the office.

We rented a cabin for my husband and I and our children. It was a fun and relaxing stay. The owners and workers are so friendly and keep the campground looking great. My family will be going again very soon. We love this koa and we just got home yesterday and my kids already want to go back

I would like to say that this was our first stay where the campground was not full - lots of open sites - the staff did an excellent job keeping everything perfect

Very disappointed in the recent changes you made where we can no longer book campsites a year in advance. Have been coming for years and probably will not return due to these changes we don’t have hours to waste on the phone trying to make reservations this is one reason we no longer go to Port Huron KOA. We normally came four times throughout the year but will be looking at other alternatives.

We had a great weekend!! Everyone was very friendly and the text messages were a great way to communicate. My only issue/concern was that the grill on our patio site hadn't been cleaned from the previous camper. Luckily, we had a grill brush. Will definitely be coming back!

Too many barking dogs and smell of marijuana from neighbors are the only reason I can’t give 5 stars this year. Otherwise we had a great weekend as usual and the girls in the office were friendly, helpful and calm under stressful circumstances (power outage). This was our 10th year and we love coming back each year!

This is the nicest koa I been to in st. Clair county. The staff us so nice and helpful. It was quiet and very clean. The prices are great for what you get. The pond is very fun. The water toys and water slide is fun. My kids also fished and they all caught a fish. I would highly recommend this camp ground.

I have camped here for years. The fact that this location is now trying to enforce KOA guidelines such as the new reservations restrictions is ridiculous. This is a much smaller campground than most and the family feel of it was my reason for going. I will not camp here again. If I’m going to wait on hold to make reservations for the following year I’m gonna do so at a much bigger campgrounds

I have always been very impressed with this campground. We have grown our group camping from a couple campers to up to 30 depending on the weekend. We love our ability to rebook the following year to keep us together I am very disappointed in the new reservation process. I understand all the new campers want a chance, but where is the loyalty to those that are dedicated to you every year?

Staff was much nicer than previous comments. Maddie was amazing! The campground is truly focused on the young kids, which is GREAT! Our teenagers liked the previous obstacles in the water and not a fan of the dance party. If you have young kids, they will have a blast.

We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend and couldn't have had a better time! The facilities were clean, the grounds kept very well and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

Friendly andnhelpful staff. Grounds left something to be desired. I understand you can't control the weather. But better drainage and maintenance goes a long way. For paying a premium to stay at these campgrounds, I would expect that. Put warnings on the website when booking that particular sites are subject to flooding or excessively muddy conditions.

Great camp site, lots of friendly staff available for any question or request. Good communication from hosts. However Text messages didn’t arrive until we left as there was no cell phone connection. List of activities should be posted around site. Check in was lengthy, must be expected on a holiday weekend.

Our stay there went very well the owner and his staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The only issue I have is our TV cable only was active for 2 1/2 days out of our six days day.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Overall great! The one thing I would suggest is monitoring the jumping pillow. On several occasions I had to get my child off because adults were jumping and launching young ones in the air. I wasn’t the only parent dealing with it. The jumping pillow is meant for kids.

This was my first time camping at this KOA and I fell in love with it. Upon checking in, the staff at the counter were pleasant and helpful. I liked how they had staff escort you to your site. There were plenty of activities throughout the weekend. The owner was visible throughout our stay. He was very personable and friendly. I enjoyed it so much, I have already booked two more trips this year.

I was not sure what to expect when we rented the cabin. To my surprise it was very quaint, super clean and located in a great spot! I want to send a big shout out to all the employees who were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Thank you for making our short stay pleasant! We will definitely be returning!

This is our second year coming here for our shakedown trip of the season..We love it here. Owners are great. Attention to detail. Lots for kids to do and a great beach.

The staff are very nice and the location/sites looked very nice for being early in the year. I really believe they should remove the fact they have wifi especially since one of the staff members described it as “spotty at best”. We had to check out early and they accommodated. to this fact we chose campgrounds specifically with wifi and this did not have it. We r pulled back to koa port Huro
