I will be happy to email you the letter that I sent to the corporate office! Having rats in the cabin, being called a liar, and after three days the droppings are still there and no one even cleaned it up! Drawers and cabinets screwed shut and I was too short to reach the overhead cabinets so I had to buy my own plates and utensils! I was told the managers were aware of this!

We had a non-refundable deposit and were going to stay in the teepee but it was just too hot and there is no pool at this KOA. There was one fan. There also isn't anything to do in Ely. All of this I could and should have found out ahead of time, but I didn't account for how hot the teepee would be inside. We chose to lose our on almost $100 and drive on to Tahoe rather than have a miserable night

This KOA doesn't have as many amenties that other KOA's have (pool, ice cream social, etc...) but is still a good place to stay. We stayed in the cabins and they are clean. There is little privacy as the door opens straight to the tent area. This is also where your table, fire pit, etc... is. If you like privacy, the other lodging here may be better. Overall a good experience and place to sleep.

Covered wagons are adorable and clean! Friendly check in. Cleanest bathrooms ever. So much to do in the area wish we stayed longer.

We stayed in a camper cabin. It was nice. The bathrooms were very good. The people who work there were very nice and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone!

I wasn't given the key to the Kabin, or good directions. I had to go back to get it. It was really hot and the air conditioner took forever to cool the room down. It should have been turned on before I arrived. The bed was most uncomfortable, for what I paid the mattress should have been better. I have stayed at this KOA many times in an RV and it was great however the Kabins NOT.

This KOA is great! Quiet and clean. Love waking up to the donkey or burro, not sure if he's wild or a pet nearby but I loved hearing him. All the employees here are helpful and friendly.

It was wonderful. Clean facilities. Friendly staff! Remodeled shower/toilet stall so handy. Temperature great. Only one bad thing that you can’t control-bugs! We had gnats, flies, and Mormon crickets! However, it looks like Northern Nevada really had an infestation, so I don’t feel too bad about the 40 or 50 we saw and/or killed. Staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. My cabin was clean and cozy. It had everything I needed for a pleasant overnight stay. The store was well stocked, clean and very organized. I highly recommend this KOA and look forward to a future stay.

I had a wonderful time here. This is the third year that I have stayed at this KOA. I stayed twice in the camping cabins and once in the covered wagon. There are lots of trails to walk around that border the campground. It’s got a great view of the mountains and is close to town. It’s a great place to stay for a few days.

The weather was bad which was difficult staying in the teepee, but staff was extremely friendly and able to work with me to make different accommodations. Highly recommend this location!

We stayed in the Conestoga covered wagon and it exceeded expectations. Bed was super comfortable and more than enough electrical outlets to keep our phones charged. Facilities were great from the store to the cleanliness of washrooms to the fact there was a basketball provided for the basketball court. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely use KOA again!

We always enjoy KOA Ely but it could have been better. Recommendations: 1. The lower cabinets were broken and screwed shut causing all utensils. pots, pans & dishes to be placed disorganized in the upper cabinets. Shorter people in our group could not reach things. These need repaired. 2. Pots and pans were worn and need replaced. 3. Numerous overhead lights were burned out and need replacing.

My stay was great except for the afterhours barking...barking...barking...barking dog left behind inside of an RV, perhaps it was alone for awhile. I had to wear earplugs to get to sleep. Other than that. it was great as always. Office people are very nice.
