It was the most bare bones KOA we have stayed in. There were no kids activities like bingo or movies. No popcorn or coffee like others. The pool was very small. The store hardly had anything. Nothing like tigers like milk, butter, coffee drinks, alcohol. Bathrooms and showers were tinny and very outdated. Wasps EVERYWHERE. Camp Ground is just not worth the KOA cost compared to others.

We are a KOA Journey, not a Holiday or Resort, yet we do offer additional activities on occasion such as an outdoor movie night with free popcorn. We also have a game room for the kids and free coffee every morning in our well stocked store. Being a family park, we are not licensed to sell alcohol.

It was OK. The bathrooms were clean, which was great, but the noise from the freeway was constant and this has to have been the most expensive KOA I have been to. For what?

Our location offers beautiful, shaded sites nestled at the base of the Cascade Mtns and on the banks of the Yakima River, yet is easily accessible from I90 yet being far enough so you can't even see I90 from the park.

The KOA was very clean. The cabins were also very clean and tidy. The staff was great with bringing us fresh towels when asked and I thought it was really cool that they picked up our trash every morning. So handy. Pool area was also very nice. Highly recommended this place.

The bathrooms were clean, the campsites were a good size, however the noise from the roadway was awful. Trucks would pump their brakes at all hours of the night making it impossible to sleep. The pool was freezing cold and you can’t swim in the river.

As a Journey campground, we are easily accessible to I90, being located on an off-ramp yet not directly off I90. The other side of the campground is directly on the Yakima River which runs very swiftly here, making it dangerous to wade in but we have a pool for swimming instead, which is even warmer

My mom and my girls and I (11yr and 7yr) stayed in a deluxe cabin! Very nice, clean, spacious. All the staff were very nice. They kept the KOA very clean and if we needed anything they were sure to get it. The pool was awesome!!

Great campground, poor location. Loud, campsite under overpass.

We have a great location nestled at the base of the Cascade Mountains along the beautiful Yakima River with easy access to I90. Our tent sites are on the bank of the river under mature shade trees with no sites being under the overpass for the local road.

We stay here every summer, and it’s always a great stay! The only thing that bummed us out was that the pool was closed on the hottest day of the weekend. And our last day is always spent at the pool.

We are happy to provide a heated pool and Kiddie pool for our guests. Maintenance and repair are sometimes required at unexpected times that cannot be planned, but our staff works hard to address such issues in a timely manner to maintain a clean and safe pool area for our guests.

Everyone who worked there was very friendly, we enjoyed our stay! We appreciate that the maintenance people were able to get the pools refilled before we got there. It was so hot, we all loved getting in the cool pools. The women's bathrooms were clean! Only suggestions related to the teepees: 1) fix the zippers on the screened in flaps and 2) open the top flaps before guests arrive when it's hot

Had a good time at the ellensburg KOA, kids were able to play on the big play structure and really enjoyed the pools.

the camp sites are to close together, the water pressure is low and there are to many extra cars in the campgrounds. Quiet hours arent enforced.

We are happy to host many groups throughout the year. Unfortunately, groups can have an effect on water pressure, parking and noise. Our manager and security personnel do monitor groups concerning parking and quiet hours during thier stays to try to rectify violations as quickly as possible.

We had a great time, it was our second stay there, and we will be back I’m sure. A couple things I’d like to point out though. 1.) Walked all along the river and every site along it had a LOT of trash along the waterline that campers dumped by their 2.) Walked in to the camp store, employee was rude and not friendly to anyone. Our greeter was pleasant and helpful! Our site as is the campground is cornered in by I-90 and a major access road- very noisy. Our site had very little relief from the day’s heat, and unless you are in the older sections where trees have been established between sites, it is near full exposure to the sun. Train runs right next to the grounds all night, it blows its whisk each time and it’s close enthralling ground vibrates the RV.

Trains are important to our economy and businesses. The products that are moved by the railway system include agricultural and food products, construction supplies, energy products, chemicals, and more. We are thankful there is a railway system just a few miles away to supply us here in Ellensburg.

We requested 2 spots together. When we got there, they were back to back. Female attendant was rude when we asked to change. Said couldn't move us, but no one was in that spot till the day we left. Lots of mosquitoes also.

The staff were courteous, and our site on the river was beautiful. We didn’t stay long enough to use all the amenities, but the dog park was spotless, which is a rarity! We’ll be back for sure.

We were able to pick our choice spot when we arrived. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were always clean and available. Our only criticism was the WiFi which was extremely poor.

We had a fabulous stay! Thank you. The care team might need a little more guidance for pool maintenance. Our kids loved the pool and the shaded patio area was terrific. We will stay again.

Very disappointed. wedding July 15 three night. Neice was moving suddenly. Tried cancelling our Sunday night Manager not very nice. She said we can’t cancel it’s just the way it is. not full. got in pool, had to get out my throat was closing. Coughing. staff with hazmat mask closed pool short time for chlorine chemical in air bad smell from pool shed.staff didn’t seem care when I couldn’t

Would not stay again. Site felt unsafe and had money and linens stolen from site while at pool. Pool was not kept clean. Bathroom was trashy and not to code for disabilities. Office hours were not posted, pool hours were changed with handwritten marks.

Bathrooms were very dirty & smelly over the 4th of July. When the park emptied out, they were then “decent” vs nasty. We had reservations through Sat morning, left Friday evening, & then received a call from staff Sat telling us we needed to depart. Their staff can’t even figure out their own labeled sites. Dump station is right at the entrance so you’re IN checking in traffic while dump

The sites are too close to each other. The well stocked store wasn't open when we went to get information/supplies (3 times on a Saturday). The proximity to the river is nice and the recreational activities were nice.

The camping spots are very close which is not a big deal for family campers and spots broken up by tents. However, we had a cookout/dinner only group next to our spot blasting music and smoking. We made the best of it but were uncomfortable at times and disappointed at the atmosphere especially for the $70/night fee.

Loved it, but the bathrooms could use an update . After we stayed in Ellensburg we went on to Idaho KOA, great personal bathrooms with showers, then stayed in Moab KOA Great personal bathrooms with showers ! Loved it !

SUCKED!!! Keep going, do not check in! They do not know Pull through from Back in! 32' and towing, we prefer and confirmed for pull through. Were assigned Back in. Do not enjoy unhooking trailer, car at 10:00 at night. With no where to place car, trailer. No answer after several calls. No compensation for price difference. FILTHY ladies room.. Never again -

A good place to stop in. The laundry did not have a coin machine and it was a bit expensive for a campsite. $71. But that's kind of what you get with a KOA, and this specific campground probably doesn't have much control over that. They had a very clear area to register for the night if you came in after hours, which we did.
