Comfortable stay, but please be warned if you have dogs. We took our 2 small dogs out when we arrived and just walked around our assigned site with them. We did not see any dangerous plants but when we got back inside 3 minutes later their undersides were covered with burrs from spiny burr grass that we had to cut out. Not fun. So just be alert!

Very nice simple campground. Clean and efficient. One of the largest dog parks we've seen. You could walk to Boot Hill area, shops and restaurants. Good stay!

Not impressed. I usually expect a higher standard out of KOA’s. This location was a disappointment. The grass wasn’t mowed, they over booked so we had to move sites during our stay, the cable didn’t work, sandburs covered the ground. We will not stay at the KOA in Dodge City again.

No pool. No water at tent sites. No hot water to clean dishes. No shade. Too much light shining through tent from street lights and spot lights.

My reservation was taken incorrectly prompting a call from the campground that I was not supposed to stay a second night. In addition, the campground was difficult to find, no one in the office at check in time, no pool facilities. It did have beautiful green space that actually belongs to the city park. I believe $60 for a very basic campground is a little high.

The girl at check in was busy on her phone and we had to wait for her to finish. She was not pleasant at all. The sites were very clean and level.

Very pleasant and interesting stay. We will return and spend more time seeing the sights. Lots of history!

We arrived just before 7 pm and found a very friendly/helpful young man at the desk. The site had a wide & long level cement pad, good water pressure and 120 v 50 amp electric. The only con I have is the sewer port was about 8" high requiring coaxing sewer contents to run uphill - why do RV parks do this? Make it ground level or at most 2" high.

We camped. The only downside to the site was the lack of shade, and that is a similar complaint for the dog park. Recommended improvements: 1. Be friendly at checkin 2. Better shower/bathroom cleaning. 3. Repair plugged toilets. Improve low flush toilets to actually flush all waste on the first flush. 4. Plant more trees, as there is no shade in the tent area and dog park.

Very nice campground.

The concrete sites are wonderful. However, we were guaranteed a pull-through site, which actually was a back in site. We drove through gravel and grass to get on the site, with on ability to leave our tow car attached. We've used this campground often and like the location and the concrete pull-throughs, so this was a disappointment.

The park was a little hard to find, but once we did it was awesome. The sites were huge and level, the bathrooms were clean and the noise from the road minimal. Miguel in the office was extraordinarily helpful. He went above and beyond to help us and we really appreciate it. Steve and Renita from Nebraska

This is a. Wet nice and clean park. The office was helpful in providing directions when our GPS sent us to the wrong location. The park is within walking distance of Boot Hill Museum, a water park and restaurants.

Clean, level pads, friendly staff. Close to downtown and city park

Nice park!!! Be aware the google map/ link from your reservation email will not take you to the park. Follow written/ paper map directions. The KOA host in the office said they have contacted Google maps but will not update the Google directions. On the day we arrived- there is a soccer field outside the entrance to the park. Cars were parked on both sides of the road- difficult with trailer.

It was hot, not koa's fault. Everything was great but the shower floors were gross. Slimy and it wasn't from cleaner.

Flies lots of flies. Easy walk to town good places to eat near. Wonderful city park to walk around in right next to the KOA. Path along and in the riverbed make for nice place to walk dogs. Office staff not real friendly and they park in front of the office verses parking area. There is a free trolly which takes you around town. Park has nice level sites and no shade as the trees are small.

This KOA is fairly new and very close to Dodge City. There is a fenced in city dog park that campers can use and a waterpark next door. The laundry and restrooms were spotless. There is a small convenience store. The sites are level and some are concert pads and others are gravel. Electric and water at all sites and some have full hookups.
