Small clean rv park that is perfect for an overnight stay. Museum Boot Hill is close and various nice restaurants. The bathroom and laundry rooms are nice and clean. Staff is friendly. I would recommend staying here.

Nice property but during checkout office was still closed and all bathrooms were simultaneously unavailable due to cleaning.

Loved the concrete pull-through sites. Walking distance to Boot Hill Museum and Dodge City Visitor Center.

Great little KOA is yeah I did that walking tour. It was OK. It wasn’t super impressive but it was fun to actually walk all over downtown and then they went. I think the most impressive thing was the limvery close within a few blocks to historic Dodge city. I would’ve rated it a five, but I didn’t like the fact that I had to keep pushing a button to get the shower water to run.

It was quiet, clean, flat slabs for our trailer and a nice patch of grass in front. One complaint, don't do lawn service in evening.

It's a beautiful campground, and they keep the grounds well maintained. Unfortunately the Water hookups are not maintained well. The site next to us had water leaking above ground and our site had water leaking underground somewhere causing the site off the backside of the trailer to flood in a 6'x10' area. That is the only reason for the 4 star rating, otherwise I would have given it a 5.

The cold welcome was not what I expected from a KOA. The internet was horrible. Would not recommend anyone to stay. More full timers than campers. Turning into a trailer park

The best campground we have ever been. Extra Large concrete pads with tables and fire rings on grass, spices and span restrooms with excellent handicap showers and stalls. Owner super accommodating. New.

Campground itself is nice, pull through good for 40’ plus towed Jeep. Level, only used electric but worked well. Getting to the campground was a bit tricky as signage not abundant and GPS a bit off. Office closed on arrival, but our packet and site info was readily available.

While the Dodge City KOA is clean and organized and has a great helpful staff. It's in Dodge City and the noise from the grain tower all night long and the feed lot smell is all overwhelming. We decided to leave at about 3:30 AM in the morning to get away from there. We were in a tent so maybe a camper trailer would've been different.

People are friendly, clean throughout. And yet, if you use the showers, that is all thumbs down. Luckily we are able to shower in our RV. But decided to use the showers on site, not a good idea. Would be a five star place otherwise.

Upon arrival there wasn't a camp host to check us in. We had to call the after hours number, this was at 3 PM in the afternoon. The site was fine, only the grass had not be cut in a while and there were grass and weeds in the fire ring. Other than those two issues, everything else was fine.

One night stay while traveling cross country and visiting Dodge City. Nice, clean campground but sites are very close together. I was originally assigned a site next to the campground packrat, who not only was using my site pad for one of his cars but he had every inch of space utilized including setting up an inflatable hot tub. Make sure you ask to not have that adjoining site.

The WasteOmatic Shower system with it push botton timer, I don't believe saves anyone $. I had to push it 6 or more times to get warm water. Then once you get soaped up you have to fumble around to press the botton again & again. Also there is no shelves so only option is to put soap & shampoo on the floor adding to the fumbling around. A positive note that the restroom/shower were very clean.

Had to pull in at night after hours. They did not answer the after hours phone unfortunately but we found a site that worked for the night. Pleasant staff.

We had a wonderful time! The nearness to the Dodge City was one of the b st things about the trip. Fortunately, the trains behind were not much of an issue.

Stay one night one week then two nights the next week. Internet was none existent front desk kept telling us they would call manager AT HOTEL where she works and get back with us! Never did , manager needs to work at camp ground instead of having kids run camp ground

Very nice, very clean campground with very courteous and helpful staff. We would have stayed a 2nd night but weather had become rather blustery and we didn't want to spend another day walking around in the cold and wind. But that's not the KOA's fault. They made the stay very pleasant!

The park had nice lots. The kids play area lacked luster. It is a great location for Dodge City as everything is in close proximity to the campground.

Nice campground. But could have used a grass cutting. The dog park was fabulous! The size of a football field and all grass (though I was told that that was due to all the rain this year).

Very friendly, clean bath/ shower rooms. It is in town, near the fantastic outdoor city swimming pool. The only thing would be to have locked bathroom with a code. Anyone could walk-in but would definitely stay again. We travel variations of this route between Kansas City and Santa Fe.

Great stay. Accommodated us with a site change on arrival. Office personnel very efficient. Just wished there was a fence separating the City Park from Campground .

Did not live up to KOA standards. No code to get in after hours, or the rest rooms for safety. Dirt bikes riding right behind sites and soccer field s filled with players directly behind tent sites.

This KOA is fairly new and very close to Dodge City. There is a fenced in city dog park that campers can use and a waterpark next door. The laundry and restrooms were spotless. There is a small convenience store. The sites are level and some are concert pads and others are gravel. Electric and water at all sites and some have full hookups.
