Loved all the activities available for kids, we rented peddle cars and a paddle boat. Grounds were beautiful and clean. Quite time was followed. Overall a great stay

We only stayed one night,and got there very late. The directions they left were easy to find and follow. Everything was nice and clean. The staff was very helpful.

We attended a family gathering. Great campgroind, we enjoy it very much. My only gripe was the spraying for grass by True Green Friday am. Safety: kids were walkning barefoot over sprayed areas while the guy was using heavy duty rubber gloves. He said the kids should not be walking over sprayed areas until it dried. Suggest following the safey lable instructions.

WE SAW LOTS OF CHANGES AND IMPROVEMENTS SINCE WE STAYED THERE 3 YEARS AGO. THERE WERE MORE IMPROVEMENTS IN PROCESS. THE CAMPGROUND IS JUST GETTING BETTER!

Great! Friendly. Lots for kids! Open until 9! Store well stocked. Pizza/wings delivery to site. 4 washers/4 dryers (cc only no coins). Clean. Fishing pond. Dog park. Gem mining. Paddle boats. Storm shelter. 1 improvement would be to place a huge ceiling fan in the corner of the laundry room as it was very hot in there. This was my second stay and it’s the best KOA I’ve been at!!!!

We stayed for 5 nights. The campground was one of the best we have ever stayed at. We enjoyed the convenience of the camp store as well as all the amenities that were available. If we are back in the area, we will definitely stay here again.

Nice campground. Clean & well maintained with great amenities. Incredible staff! We had previously suffered hail damage and staff went above & beyond providing tools and equipment for us to inspect and adjust our temporary repairs after 600 miles of driving. Don and Kevin not only helped us out, but checked on us multiple times. Will definitely stay here again when in the Des Moines area.

Just a short 3 nights, but such a nice place. Clean, quiet, scenic and the amenities are abundant. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely come back!

We would rate this KOA a 10 if we could (scale is 1 to 5). The facility is modern, clean and well maintained. The location is 1.5 miles from I-80 in a quiet, pastoral setting which made sleeping comfortable. The staff was helpful and cheerful from the front desk to maintenance. The price is very reasonable for KOA. We would be happy to stay here again

Campground is set up for RVs, which is normal they pay the most. We are tenters and found the tent sites too close together- 8ft . They are also farthest from the bathrooms which tenters need. I wouldn't tent there again. However the staff was helpful and pleasant. The amenities were also good.

Great hosts and employees. Always clean and well kept. Perfect place to stay for a night. Although we haven’t found a need t9 stay longer, we defiantly wouldn’t mind.

I love this park. Clean, well kept, well stocked, friendly staff. My only comment is that it is difficult to reach the kitchen utensils as they are stored on higher shelves and there is no stool to help reach them.

The stay was wonderful, a lot of amenities offered to families, stay was wonderful and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. My only concern was the swimming pool, overly crowded and the amount of adults with alcohol bottles and cans in the pool and large inflatables. The pool is a great, although the size is small and it poses a hazard with the volume of people in it that I witnessed.

Had a great time with all the activities for kids on Saturday. Campground is kept up and we saw the manager was involved with the staff and making sure things were going well.

There was a lot of activities to do there. They have a pool it is rather small and stayed full. The buddy sites are super tight, not so good to stay in if you're not with a buddy. �It is a little pricey, but I've seen worse. Overall I would say it's a nice place to stay.

We had a great time!! Great service and amenities!! Loved the time we had there!! Hope to be back soon! The only thing is the bathrooms need to be cleaned more because the floor got a bit dirty. But other than that it was a very good stay!

Super friendly staff & great communication. We all enjoyed it very much. The kids played, my husband entered a fishing tournament and got 2nd place, when the pool needed maintenance they were sure to set up other options for the kids! it was peaceful and a great time for my daughters birthday. Campsites for tents are a little close tho

Slides are basically touching each other, camper pad wasn't long enough, way over priced, pool was not opened the entire time, personally put my stay at site 54 which is the furthest site from the pool. Camping at KOA WEST is a waste of my time and my hard earned cash.

It was awesome! My kids had a great time at the activities going on during our stay. Any issues we had were quickly fixed by the staff, and they were all so helpful. We really appreciated the popcicles at the pool. Only thing I'd suggest is a bigger water balloon filling station because it was always packed!

Very nice park with lots to do. My only con is the buddy sites. They aren't very wide and makes it hard for Rv's with slides. Buddy sites are good if you're camping with a buddy but not so good if you are camping with strangers because of the closeness. I don't want to look out my window into someone else's coach and vice versa.

This KOA was clean, friendly, and peaceful. Had many things to do for the kids! The pool was our fav! The firewood delivery was wonderful. I rated it a 3 because for tent camping it is lacking. The site was a small rock pad that was too small to fit your tent, fire ring, table, and chairs. Not a single tree at the tent sites. The cooking grates were not at all sites. No camp kitchen as advertised

The site was easily accessible, but we showed up for after hours check and they didn't have us on the list because we booked online. Glad they answered the phone after hours and were able to confirm the early afternoon online booking and get us a site.

We enjoyed our stay at the one room cabins, very clean. When booking the reservation, the lady on the phone was super helpful in getting us booked and making sure we knew where we would be going for our late check in. Bathrooms and showers were very clean! Thanks for a great stay!
