This place was ABSOLUTELY amazing! This was our first road trip in the RV trip and stayed at a few KOA’s and this place was hands down the best one. The view was amazing and the staff was even better!

10/10 resort experience. Staff were all super kind and attentive. Wood and pizza delivered right to our door - AMAZING! We will definitely be back to this little gem in the mountains.

No one came around and assure quiet time was respected. We had neighbors that were up until after 230am driving back and forth thru campground. I can appreciate not everyone goes to sleep early, but when it continues after midnight, too much.

A great family campground at 9000' elevation! Facilities are great, wifi rocks, cool mining towns to explore nearby, or take a short trip to the top of Mt. Evans. The terrain is a bit rough with zero vegetation, as you'd expect. Cool camp store with oxygen if you need it! We'll be back.

Loved the cement pads!! Loved the all weather picnic table and chairs. Michael guided us to our site and explained everything to us!!! He is a keeper as a staff person.

Very friendly and welcoming campground! Clean and highly attentive staff on site! Firewood delivery, pizza to your site, and nice kids playground. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay and love all the extras they provide. The pizza and breakfasts are amazing and the camp is so clean. Please cut the tree back on site 40 when we would exit camper we walked right into it. So sorry we had to call in so late on site 39 they where partying at midnight right by our bed but that reflects none on the koa they handled it and was never a problem again such a family place

Extremely clean and friendly staff. The views were fantastic. Only complaint was we had 2 neighbors that had small barking dogs which was irritating. The 2 campers only stayed 1-2 nights which was a relief.

The friendliest staff! This is our 2nd stay in 3 years and both experiences were awesome. Spacious sites, easy to navigate. We only stayed one overnight but would definitely stay longer making this our home base.

I was accommodated to stay one night over Memorial Day weekend, which was very nice of the staff. I had a hard time finding a place for Saturday during a cross country trip, and this was a life saver! I used the laundry facility while there which I have no complaints about. I did not utilize other amenities this time unfortunately, but I would stay again!

One night. The pizza was a welcome meal... very tasty and came right to our sight. The showers were clean and the water hot. The whole campground was very clean. The dog park was too small for my Husky...

Stopped here on the Friday before Memorial Day. It was late & we got caught in a storm going over the mountains. Price was $99.00 w/ KOA discount & too high for one night stay. Couldn't walk around due to mud and big water holes in road. Got tires & jacks dirty driving into site as gravel wasn't spread wide enough. Needs to level road then spread gravel. Cart driver from OK was nice & helpful.

We stayed ‘on top’ which was nice. I wouldn’t want to stay on the lower half… too much of a ‘parking lot’ feel. People working there are very nice & helpful

Our RV site was perfectly located, level and the views were amazing. All of the staff we dealt with were friendly and super helpful. And, having a hot pizza/wings delivered to our RV, after a long days drive was perfect! Best KOA we’ve ever stayed at!

It was very nice. Grounds well kept. Just made swing some trees or something. Missing the outdoor feel. Excellent people working there. It was a very nice service stay. Like I said sites missing trees to feel outdoors. And it would be nice if the roads were paved

Campground was fine, a little pricey but ok. As we left an older gray haired man felt the need to use profanity while talking to me in front of my wife. Where I come from, ladies are to be respected. I was not pleased and won't be back

The staff members were amazing - every single one of them! The cabins are cute inside..everything is absolutely clean. The only issue we had was the wind, but that is outside of the staff's control😁

We stayed at the campground in July 2023 in a 32' Class C motorhome pulling a small car. We were in campsite #2, a pull-in campsite overlooking the Central City area. Campground, store, and laundry area were great. Only "issue" was the route to get onto Central City Parkway to head back to I-70 was a little confusing as cannot leave the campground the way you enter the campground (no fault of the KOA campground). The Hidee Gold Mine tour was close by and well worth the time (be prepared for a rough road to get to the parking area). Central City was not worth the time to visit - very little to see other than casinos.

Wonderful location, we loved that we were so close to walking trails. The campground was clean and the staff was very nice. We loved the store, it stayed open late and had almost everything that you may need.
