I am a firm believer in setting goals to work towards, a list maker some would say. I have goals for the next week, next month, next season, and next year. If I do not reach a goal it usually gets added to the next list with a bit of regret and reflection.
This year has been a year of moving goals from list to list. Adjusting to a changing world can be maddening when the relaxing space of a campfire seems to be so far away in these cold winter months. Here are some suggestions for getting through the winter with your family:
- Have a campfire in your backyard
- Make a livingroom tent
- Plan your trips for the coming season
- Give the gift of camping or camping equipment to friends and family to encourage them to camp with you
