Campground Cancellation Guideline

Campground Specific Cancellation Policy

All Cancellations adhere to the KOA national guidelines, effective 10-01-24.  All cancellations outside the cancellation window will be refunded the reservation minus a $20 cancellation fee.

Cancellation for RV/Tent site: 

Regular Cancellation - The cancellation window is 7 days prior to arrival date.  Outside of this window, a $20 fee applies and we refund the rest.  If you cancel inside this 7 day window, you will forfeit your deposit. 

Holiday Cancellation -  We require a 14 day notice prior to arrival, for a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee. If you cancel without a 14 day notice, you will lose the full deposit. 

Cancellation for Lodging/Cabins:

Regular Cancellation - The cancellation window is 14 days prior to arrival date.  Outside of this window, a $20 fee applies and we refund the rest.  If you cancel inside this 14 day window, you will forfeit your deposit. 

Holiday Cancellation - We require a 30 day notice prior to arrival, for a refund of your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee. If you cancel without a 30 day notice, you will lose the full deposit. 

Cancellation for Long-term/Monthly:

Monthly Cancellation - Unfortunately, we cannot provide a full refund for a long-term stay, the monthly cancellation fee is $100.  Depending on the time and notice given, a prorated fee may be applied and a refund of the rest may be granted.VIP KOA Rewards Guests:Our VIP KOA Rewards guests will continue to have the cancellation fee waived if the cancellation is in advance of the cancellation window.

Please note - Site Types 

We guarantee a ''site type''. Site numbers are confirmed and assigned at check-in.  Customers who wish to select their site number and are guaranteed the site number must pay an additional fee.  

National Cancellation Guideline

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the campground before the deadlines below to receive a refund of your deposit, less a $20 administrative cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations will not be accepted.

Cancellation Deadlines:

  • RV & Tent Sites: You must give 7 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Lodging & Accommodations: You must give 14 days cancellation notice. Call the KOA you made your reservation with by 4 p.m., fourteen days before your scheduled arrival.

For guests booking accommodations in California, a full refund will be given for reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, provided the arrival date is at least 72 hours after the time of booking.

Cancellation Details:

  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits.
  • Cancellations made after the deadlines will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • No refunds are given due to the discomforts of nature, including no-shows and early checkouts.
  • No refunds are given on or after the arrival date.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original credit/debit card, with no exceptions.
  • The cancellation policy may be amended during a Regional/National travel disruption.
  • Holidays and special events may have unique deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA for details.
